I'm sort of talented. I mean, after GoW took me to the promise land, I didn't play too much Halo, but I'm still pretty good.

Its got to be a combo of skill, talent and luck. I once played a matchmade rocket match with a single ally, who was only playing around at a friends and i came out and won, not because i rocket whored, or the other team was grouped up, i used my knowledge of the map and what i knew about the spnkr to get out ahead, which feeds my skill's idea, luck since i backed up into a corner near the top of the map, easily able to be shot from, but somehow i managed to evade there shots, and then for talent, this was another matchmade game, this time on relic and it was assualt i took a ghost and was mowing down the other team left in right got a spree from that, almost got a kill tac, but the guy got lucky and hit my wing and bounced off, chasiung him i ran off tghe edge of the map, and latched onto the side wall, boosted up out of the water and killed there bombcarrier. Which of course would supply talent.

That's probably to lonmg but its definately a combo no one plays only on talent, skill or luck alone. Talent is very useful skill is almost a need , and luck well it plays a considerable role in sticks and nades

I wouldn't consider beating someone at Rockets skill, talent, or luck. A rocket launcher takes at the most 2 shots to kill someone. And from the impact it has, you don't even have to have good aim, all you have to do is shoot the ground in front of them. Congrats that you won with only one teammate but it's nothing special, especially SINCE you only had one teammate, which made it harder for the other team. You had more targets than they did.

To be honest, I didn't really see how any of those applied... just sounded like a bad attempt at bragging... sweatdrop

Now that I reread it, yeah it did. >.>

Oh yeah and T.A.D... You don't need talent, and it's not A skill. If you have talent for something you ARE SKILLED at that something, talent is most definitely not A skill, nor is it needed. I know loads of people who aren't talented at Halo 2 but are good. Just because someone is good at a video game or anything else doesn't always mean they have talent, they could have merely practiced at it and have become better, and that's not talent either.

There's definately a level of talent, and I think "video game talent" can be at different levels for different genres. For example: My brother is currently going through Legendary Mode on Halo 2 (albeit slowly), while I find my challenge in Normal. But when it comes to RPGs, I have to sit there and help him out or he'll be completely lost, while I need little to no outside help.
