oooo, zaizai in chinese XD. i think the one with barbie is a different one, or the girl's name isn't really barbie, starts with a v like veronica (i don't think so) or victoria (it wasn't that either) but something with a v where she was a rich kid and he was connected to the mob. the girl from meteor garden and mars is big s, or most well known as big s but i don't know her real name. barbie's called barbie 'cause she likes pink so much, i think, but i know that she did host a show in japan for a while, even appeared on a talk show with gackt and they were talking in chinese a bit >.

HAHA, I totally agree with you about those hair extension on him. They really did look weird. Yeah, Mars wasn't one of my favorites, but I'm probably saying that cause I've read the manga, and the dramas fails in comparison to the books. But I still thought it was pretty well done though.
Silence was much much much better than Mars and I would even say Meteor Garden, but I'm not too big of a fan for that drama either. The story first starts off with both of them as kids who end up meeting each other in the hospital, him with a cast on his leg and she with the inability to talk after an accident. and together, they promise to meet one another during Christmas in like ten years or something. But yeah, then the story fast forwards when they're older, he being an arrogant rich snob and she being the somewhat optimistic. Well, anyways, they meet of course by "fate" but they don't realize that the other was the same kid from the hospital, and they fall in love but problems of course come, such as parents, friends, fiancee, disease, and inability to communicate (she's still unable to talk). But the problems were overly dramatic and dragged on like other dramas are, thank goodness! All in all, it was a great drama, and it had a sad and beautiful ending.
Silence is probably my favorite Taiwanese drama heart

yeah, i read the mars manga too so watching the taiwanese drama wasn't satisfying for me. i thought meteor garden first season was pretty good though, then the second season got a bit weird, but even the second season wasn't so bad. i think that or maybe 我的秘密花園/my secret garden was the high point in taiwanese drama for me. i usually like main land chinese shows better...dunno what you'd call them....'cause they're filming and acting is a lot better in my opinion. for dramas, i tend to like the japanese and korean ones better. i don't really like the style of taiwanese pop culture, i like more traditional chinese stuff so the taiwanese dramas are enjoyable but not something that i really get into because of interest, but if i watch a series i guess i'd be curious about the outcome of the series enough to continue with it. do you know the one series, mvp valentine or something, mvp情人 in chinese. that one was...interesting...but i didn't like the guys in there very much, there was like one very minor side character whom i found really cute, one of the two followers of the rich kid, and then the guy with the bad attitude who ends up with barbie was kinda cool, but the others....i really didn't get into....

So she used paper and pen for the main guy, Vic's character. But towards the end, he did begin to understand sign language little by little.

I think you actually hear her mind speak, the voice actor not the Korean girl's real voice, while she's doing sign language. And I think there was subs for certain parts too, i think, sorry, can't really remember...

Yeah, I was really lucky because I finished watching Kurosagi just the day before Youtube started going all strict and removed all the dramas there. Some other sites that I know have it up that you should try, but not too sure if they have them subbed, are Dailymotion or Veoh
