Um my parents know that I'm into Jrock but my mom could careless to what I listen to && well lets just say my dad now makes fun of all asains stare (when i'm around) based on what the other bands i listen to wear... he calls them girls & makes fun of their hair and clothes!
But i know hes just doing it to tease me cuz i get mad when he says it && it makes him laugh! blaugh stressed
*curses underbreath* Damn Dad!

My mom doesn't really care what I listen to, as long as she doesn't have to hear it from across the house. My dad on the other hand. Well he doesn't like any japanese music really, because "The Japanese language was not meant to be put into lyrics like they're doing it," and "The language they use is attrocious, dear lord, did you just HEAR what he said?!!?!" or something like that. He dislikes most of Miyavi's stuff, but then again, the first Miyavi song he ever heard was "Nozomare baby"....not a very good first impression sweatdrop

My mom's first taste of Jrock was Gackt, and her first words were, "Oh my! She's really pretty^-^"..Me:..n_n''... Then when she saw Myvers, she was like, "OMG! That Gackt guy screwed himself up!=O" She's listened to Gackt, but not Miyavi, so she hasn't made any statements about him other than his appearance.. She calls Gackt and Hyde queers.Dx

My mom, who will be 59 this year, really wouldn't know what to make of Miyavi. She thought Shinya was a girl.
It's not just her age, though. It's also her personality.

dude, my friends parents are LAME. they thought Myv was a GIRL!! and he wasnt even dressed in drag or anything!! I was SO offended!!

what i cant believe is: Miyavi is only 25. He turns 26 this September (correct??)
he so hot and talented and OMG!!
my brother is 26, and Myv is better than him in like, every way; he's richer, hotter, more successful, and i could go on forever.
(did i post this in the wrong topic, or does it matter??)

OMG!! my parents are...differen't....my mom call's him Mihavi and my dad calls him mothra rofl sweatdrop
my mom's first song was hit the road jack she was all "Oh my god that's english what is he wearing?" lol
she still thinks he's weird....and is totally freaked out about how he dresses....but she dosen't mind that I'm into him....
my dad dosen't care much for him....but in a way he respects my different taste in music and guys....he said so long as he's into sports and sushi he didn't care..... xd
I have a poster of miyavi on my wall right next to a poster of Hyde...they confuse the two all the time....when I said Miyavi was going to be performing in LA they both went "that guy on your wall?" and I said which one? they said "the one that look's like a girl"....and then described my hyde poster sweatdrop

i didnt have to tell my mom about miyavi. she saw his music video Kekkonshiki no Uta on tv and she asked me if i knew him and i said yes..i was online and she sorta kicked me off the computer and started looking for more videos...

My mom doesn't mind the music, but she thinks Miyavi's lip ring is cool.
So she bought me one and I'm getting my lip pierced like Miyavi's. XD Because my mom said so! How awesome is that?

My mom has learned to differentiate between ALL of the jrockers that i know...which is quite a bit. xDDD its sad really.
Specifically, my mom is most familiar with Miyavi...but she hates his music. xD She's never mistaken him for a girl though (nor has she mistaken any other jrocker as a girl O.o) She thinks his voice is annoying
Mark, my mom's boyfriend just calls him Miyagi and hasn't given an opinion. -_- He lets me listen to Myvs in the car though. whee
