Brandon rolls to his feet and hops up onto the steel stairs, then goes for a leg drop to kane

HBK attempts to clothesline Zarel over the barricade and out into the audience

(here's the ending we all agreed on)

Brandon continues his assault on the Big Red Machine, berating him with punches and forcing him close to the barricade. he goes to clothesline Kane over it, but Kane ducks and back body drops him over it instead. Brandon lands hard on his back on the concrete and Kane quickly comes out after him. Kane pulls him up and hits a hard uppercut to the jaw, knocking Brandon deeper into the crowd.

Shawn michaels chases Zarel out into the crowd and is caught by suprise with a back kick to the jaw. Shawn gets back up and Zarel irish whips him into one of the walls. Kane tosses Brandon into that same wall alongside Shawn michaels and comes to stand by his partner. the two grin as they pull their opponents up again, then drop them across one of the metal railings sternum first. Brandon and Shawn Michaels stagger up the stairs, moving deeper into te crowd, and Kane and Zarel slowly stalk after them. Brandon and Shawn stop and turn in time to see the two larger men coming in for clotheslines. they simultaneously duck and nail Kane and Zarel with inverted atomic drops, then take them off their feet with clotheslines. Brandon looks out into the crowd and tells the fans to pass some weapons. Shawn Michaels goes out through a door and returns with a table.

Kane stands up first and Brandon nails him in the head three times with a chair to take him down. Shawn Michaels sets up the table and goes back out for another one, which he sets up alongside it. Zarel is up now and Brandon kicks him in the gut, then hits his Impaler DDT on top of the chair. Kane and Zarel are now busted open slightly and Brandon and Shawn hit a few crotch chops for the cheering crowd.

Kane and Zarel simultaneously sit up, not at all happy. they get to their feet and Kane grabs Brandon by the throat as Zarel grabs Shawn michaels. They lift their opponents up for a chokeslam through the table but Brandon and Shawn jump out of their clutches, landing behind them. Kane and Zarel turn around only to be hit with superkicks, knocking them onto the tables instead. Shawn looks to go for a pin but Brandon shakes his head and points to a balcony above the doorway Shawn had gone out earlier. the fans begin to cheer as Shawn michaels smiles and the two head up the stairs and step over the railing, balancing themselves on the edge of the balcony. they look down to make sure their opponents are still on the table, then simultaneously hit diving moonsaults, with Brandon hitting Kane and Shawn hitting Zarel. the tables of course break beneath them, and the referee makes the count.

"one...two...three!!"

Announcer: Here are your winners and the new EEW Tag team champions, Brandon Damone and Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X!

the DX theme hits as the referee pulls the new champions to their feet and hands them the title belts. Both men are understandably sore as they raise the titles in one hand while holding their chests with the other. they make their way through the crowd and over the barricade just as Kane and Zarel sit up again. the two get to their feet with the help of the railings and move to follow behind DX. Brandon and Shawn merely head up the ramp backstage as the crowd cheers behind them
