They are not actually demonising your culture, like they have with mine, they aren't scared they are just unsure how to act, because sadly alot of the stereotypes are true.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! There was another ******** thing on the news again (this time two emo girls (yet again) killed their friend cause "they felt like it") and now they are going on... and IT WAS IN MY TOWN PAPER!!! HAHAHAHA its so ******** funny.

You find that funny...
You know what I don't find funny, the fact that the press is demonising metal fans and talking of putting serious legislation on video games to prevent the sale of any except to specially licensed adult entertainment stores. That in many countries heavy metal is banned, that its the heavy metal musicians themselves get blamed because some deranged lunatic killed someone.
And your worried, because a life style choice (as the press see's it anyway) is being blamed... at least your entire culture and way of life isn't under constant media onslaught and at risk of being seriously prevented from general public release or worse banned altogether. So please whilst you're all laughing at how petty the media is being, remember us hardcore gamers and metallers will always be more to blame and more demonised then you guys ever will.

but a music being banned for no reason(alice cooper in england for example) is so stupid i agree with cannibal corpse being banned they suck

A.Box.Of.Sharp.Objects ON the news the other day there was two girls who were supposedly 'emo' that killed themselfs and then some dickmunch of a dude came up and said that if you suspect anyone of being emo around you dont turn your back on them and tell someone close to you (their mum, councelor (sp?)) or they will "spiral out of control and most definately will hurt themselfs and people around them"
What the ********?!? No joke this is the bullshit they were going on with. And it effects me because I do dress emo and I admit it but its like theres a problem with the way people dress and the music they like all of a sudden. And it was on the ******** news!!! I dont know i just needed to rant for a second.
or tv, generally speaking
its a load of crap
they always overexaggerate(sp?)
i dont care what the world thinks
i'd rather sleep
i drone out people by sleeping
then if they wake me up
i scream and punch them
