Flitch followed, naturally. Not like he'd wait around while Parvana faced the possible mutilation of her kimono. Yet thankfully the lady proved to be as good as her word... perhaps better.

"You look... great," he breathed at Parvana's question. No, more like gorgeous. The kimono fit her more perfectly than he could have imagined. For a moment, she even seemed to almost take her breath away.

His head bobbing rapidly in approval, Flitch let his face split into a wide grin. "It looks perfect on you, Vana."

The issue regarding payment was quickly and easily settled, as the kindly shopkeeper was nice enough to let the two children go out with a discount. With that done, they had the rest of the fair to explore.

Smiling, Flitch held out an arm in a proper gentlemanly fashion. "Well?" he cheerfully prompted. "Shall we?"

Pravana giggled, putting her arm in his, her hand resting on his arm. Her stomach groweling loudly at that moment reminding her it had been a while since she ate. She looked around, pulling him over to one of the many food booths, this time she paid for the food, hurring back and handing Flitch a couple of them.

She happliy tore into one of the steamed buns, "Mmmmm," as she tasted the sweet bean filling. "There are some games over there, wanna go play some of them?" She asked happily, slipping her hand in in his arm again. There was several rows of smaller booths with a virity of games and prizes.

Trailing along aimlessly and gazing with his childish interest at anything and anything that looked the least bit interesting, Flitch barely even noticed Parvana's quick rush to the food stand, and as such jumped slightly in surprise as she returned with the steaming buns. Nonetheless he gratefully accepted the offering, curiously taking a sampling bite from one of his buns. Hm. Not bad. A little sweet for his tastes, but not bad.

Looking at the games, he cocked his head curiously. He'd gazed at a few before, but they all seemed to require either great dexterity or strength... both of which he notably lacked. Still, it would be fun trying.

"Looks fun," he commented, the wording slightly slurred by the food in his mouth. "How about that one with the pool?"

At that, he pointed with his semi-free hand towards a stand with some sort of kiddie pool in it. Whatever it was, it had water, and Flitch was always good with water.

Gently steering the skipping girl towards the pool, he peered curiously inside. Oh! Goldfish! How neat!

Parvana stood on her tiptoes, looking into the kiddy pool at all the pretty goldfish. Her eyes became wide as she looked over at them. "Oooo look, at all of those pretty fish." She turned looking over at Filtch. her hand still resting in the crook of his arm, her fingers gripping the soft silk of his kimono. "How do you play this one?"

"Hm..." Flitch mused, unsure. He'd never done much in the way of games before, and this one puzzled him. How DID one play this game?

"It's simple," said a man who sat by the pool in a cheap folding chair. "For a quarter, you get one shot at getting a fish with the net. If you get a fish, you get to keep it."

Oh. Well, that WAS simple, wasn't it? But when he saw the catching net in the man's hand, Fitch saw why there were so many fish in the pool. The net was a small, battered thing, and was probably more suited to the trash instead of fish-catching.

Still, it was worth a shot.

"Wanna try it, Vana?" he asked. "One try wouldn't hurt..."

Vana bit her lower lip looking over the kiddy pool filled with the gold fish, eyeing the small net. She shrugged and grinned taking the net from the man running the booth. "Sure, it couldn't be that hard.." She didn't sound that sure of herself. She took the net and stood where the man showed her to.

She leaned over the pool, taking a couple swipes with the net, doing little more then just making a lot of splashes. Her lower lip pounting a little in her frustration and sighed taking a step back holding out the net to Flitch. "I'm not very good at it. You try."

Watching Vana's failed attempts with wide blue eyes. Aww, no luck? But it looked so simple! But then again... weren't all carnival games secretly tricky?

Regardless, he gratefully accepted the net from Parvana, then let his arm move forward in his own attempt. Like her, the first few attempts met with no success. But then-

"Hey!" he exclaimed in delighted surprise. "I got two!"

Her eyes widned as she clapped her hands and cheered as the old man put the two fish into two spreat baggies. The little butterfly girl giggled wrapping both her arms around one of FLitches. "That was great Flitch. On your last try too. I wasn't sure if you where going to get one." She let go of his arm when the vendor held out the two baggies.

Grinning in a mildly embarrassed but highly pleased manner, Flitch accepted the two fish, turning to Parvana and holding one out to her. "Here," he said. "One for each. Now what do you want to do?"

Parvana squeed happily wrapping her arms around him as she gave him a big hug before taking ahold of one of the bags, watching the gold fish swim around in it's small confinds. She looked up then, looking around at all booths. Her eyes lit up when she saw one booth, hanging on to his hand and holding the fish in the other she lead him over.

The man smiled as she squirmed her way to the fornt of the crowed looking around at all of the differnt fire works. It seemed to be mostley poppers and sparklers, but of all kinds of colors and shapes. She picked out a few and handed the man the money before squirming back threw the crowed to Flitch. "Here, I got these...." Handing him a few she looked around, her eyes shining as she saw the perfact place. "Over there, lets light them over there."

Over there was a quite place a little closer to the japanese temple, a small refletive pound srounded by laterns giving off a soft glow. Lighting bugs flitrted threw and around, dancing around like little glow faires. A few water lillies where open on one side and they could hear the call of some bull frogs hidden in the reeds. Vana grinned as she knelt down in the soft grass, lighting the punk with a match the man had sold to her with the sparklers. "Momma showed me how to do these once..." She mummred as she held the string over the orange glowing ember, the heat of the slow burning wood ligthing the strink as it burst out into a multidue of bright hot colors. Vana giggled glancing up at Flitch, "You ever done fireworks?"

Allowing himself to be dragged by the other, Flitch took the opportunity to gaze about in open wonder some more. This was all terribly new and exciting, you see, and he had never seen anything like this. So absorbed was he in glancing about in open wonder, he jumped slightly as Parvana thrust their newly-acquired fireworks into his hand.

"Oh! Cool!" Grinning broadly, Flitch held the unknown assortment of sparklers and other firecracker goodies closer for inspection. Anvion had never allowed them near the house (for numerous reasons, most prominent amongst which being that the house was literally crawling with infants), so this was the first time Flitch had even gotten to get close to any fireworks, let alone hold and light any.

The spot in which Parvana had chosen to light the fireworks was a picturesque little place, Flitch thought. Equally good for playtime and a few moments of peace and quiet-- the best type of place one could hope to find. Flitch honestly paid the place little mind, however. The option of fireworks was much more intriguing at the moment.

He shook his head at the question. "Never. I've seen a few shows, but Anvi won't let them in the house. But don't you just stick them in the fire like so...?"

Having thrust all but one of his sparklers in his bely by this point, Flitch Stuck the very tip of the sparkler into the flame. Instantly it flared to life, causing the fish to jump and almost drop it in surprise. "Woah!" A laugh. "Cool!"

Vana giggled at Flitch's reaction, once he became comfortable with his sparkler she started hers going too. The sparkler came to life, a multitude of different colors. She carefully held it away from her as she watched it burn to the top of the string. She laughed as she took one of the poppers. She held it up "This is going to make a loud noise." She warned before she lit the fuse. Quickly she stepped back and pulled Flitch with her so he wasn't standing too close as the fire cracker blew.

When Vana warned him of the impending loud noise, Flitch dropped his nearly-spent sparkler and instantly reached up to cover his ears. Loud noises did not sit proper with him, and even with his large ears covered, he still winced as the firecrackers exploded noisily.

"Ooh!" He exclaimed cheerily once the explosions had concluded, lowering his hands from his ears. "That was neat!" A little too loud for his tastes, but cool nonetheless!

Parvana giggled at his reaction. She sat in the thick soft grass, all of their fire works now gone. Her soft pink kimono pooling around her. She leaned forwrd a bit looking at her reflection in the still quite pond. "I like this place. It is really nice here."

"Yeah," the fish agreed, plopping on down beside Parvana in the grass. "Nice and quiet, too. It makes-- ooh!"

His sentence had been interrupted by the loud BANG and brilliant flare of a full-sized firework. Within a few seconds of the initial flare, another rose to burst and join in. Then another, And another.

A fireworks display! Awesome!
