For evolution to had happened then a species must go instinted. they say humans evloved from fish and monkeys and apes. but the thing is they all still living.

...yes still living and evolving!!! Is that why everyone is crazier and crazier?? rofl rofl

I think UFOs/Aliens exist... It is strange how most "people" who have seen them describe them like they are drawn (even on Gaia). I had a coworker that was a teenager in the midwest and he had this L shaped scar on his hand. He said that one night he was sitting in the bleachers of his High School smoking and he and his friend saw a UFO - so they started flashing their lighters at it... Then he doesn't really remember what happened and seemed to lose a few hours of "time" - that's when that scar appeared on him... ??? He didn't claim to see an alien - but he isn't sure what happened to him. Has anyone else had something like this happen to them??

1: Why must a species go extinct for evolution to have happened?

2: Humans share a common ancestor with apes. Humans and apes share a common ancestor with monkeys. Humans, apes and monkeys share a common ancestor with fish. We did not evolve from animals that are still alive today.

Animatratus: Good point. There have been quite a few mass extinctions on Earth, not only the dinosaur one. In fact, each period (Jurassic, Triassic, etc.) is separated by a mass extinction event. Thats what defines the periods. On another planet that formed about when Earth did, and developed life, but did not experience mass extinction events, it might be possible for creatures to exist there that have been evolving for millions of years longer than we have, but that is no guarantee of intelligence. Even super-intelligence is no guarantee that the energy problems of traversing great distances of space-time can be solved at all.

I think it is ridiculously unlikely that we are alone in the universe, but I have doubts that any extraterrestrial life more organised than a comet-riding microbe has ever come to this little rock.

Oh, and I have seen some weird things in the sky that I can't explain as well. Hopefully someday someone will explain them, and I don't think the answer will involve aliens.

My family has a Roswell book called Roswell: Case Closed which disproves the fact that a UFO crashed there... Guess what? I disproved half of the stuff they said!! xd It amused me!! My Astronomy teacher thought it was the best thing in the world when I brought her the book and my notes!

In my life I have never seen an UFO (although Nicaragua is not the great thing to receive visits of the exterior stare ), and it is not that I believes that they don't exist, it is only that if they are so advanced, why are they interested in us? Should not they fear about our reactions?, and even so they arrive and they leave, I also believe that the UFO doesn't always have inside aliens, it is as if they had automatic pilot or the UFO have artificial intelligence. I sorry much that it confuses all you with my questions, but it is that if I think from that point of view, if I was a intelligent alien, it would scare me coming closer to a human, remember that many people are afraid to that they don't know and they sometimes react bad. Advice me if I wrote badly some words, I should improve more my English sweatdrop .

You could be right. Maybe some UFO's are robotic probes of some kind. The bulk of our space exploration has been robotic. Also, your english is fine. Actually your post is considerably easier to understand than many posts I've seen from people born in english-speaking countries!

If you think about it, we just found a planet that is close to Earth. It has oceans and the atmosphere is very close to ours. Isn't it possible that there are some kind of "beings" living on that planet?

Right now, I'm completely convinced that there may be life out there, we just haven't found it yet.

I think they exist but not in the alien sense. I think they are more likely to be confidential USA military experiments.

I think the Alien sightings are a bunch of BS. I believe ETs exists but for them to travel light years and light years from their home to visit Earth? And to have the technology to travel near speed of light and have that kind of energy to do it?
    Nope just can't believe it.

Many UFO sightings have been identified and they're not alien spacecrafts.

Did you know space probes sent out by the united states have Earths location (relative to what we believe it is), a picture of a male and female human, and the atomic symbol for Hydrogen. I'm sure some one in NASA has figured out the probability; that it is entirely possible, highly unlikely of course, that our debris will eventually reach some form of extraterrestrial life. The question being whether this life form has the technology and ability to reach us.
There is abosultely no doubt that there has to be life out there, I don't know if any one has ever heard of Drake's Equation but assuming the universe is infinite then even with all the variables that are involved there has to be other planets similiar enough to ours that can support life. This said of course, we have to take in to consideration the process of evolution and the level of intelligence that these planets possibly posses, this significantly limits the possibility of us being contacted. In an infinite universe the distance between two planets of equal intelligence is to great and we know they would need to exceed our intelligence. Our satellite or radio signals reach the end of our known universe in roughly 40 years (estimated of course) so for another lifeform fitting all those specifications to pick up on our signals would take so long we would probably already be extinct as a species.

In summary, although it is possible I think it is highly unlikely we have had any contact with Alien species and UFOs are probably not alien related in any sense.
