Ok, so the main team is:
Staraptor - 52
Dialga - 52
Azelf - 50
Empoleon - 53
Rapidash - 49
Machoke - 46
Still not sure about those last 2...and I need another. So I'm gonna go find more balance for my team. I've been using mainly staraptor and empoleon throughout the whole game up until near the end... sweatdrop

Since I really only know the Japanese names, it took me a while to figure out which pokemon was which, but now I know that's a pretty good team. 3nodding
I've been using Staraptor and Empoleon (though I haven't evolved them to that level yet) really consistently since the beginning too. They're both really good pokemon. heart
My current/usual team is:
Prinplup - 33
Staravia - 30
Gyrados - 31
Roselia - 27
Golem - 30
Alakazam - 31
It's not a very balanced team, but it has worked really well for me so far.

Just updated the levels xP
I went ahead and caught 2/3 of the other rare Pokemon...so I'm going to use azelf in my team. I don't think it's balanced, but it should work.
I was surprised how well staraptor was/is o.o

I caught a bronzor! 4laugh It has godlike defense but it's attack is lacking, Ill pump it up once I find the place where I can buy vitamins. 3nodding
My team:
Staravia - 20
Bronzor - 18
Luxio - 24
Geodude - 18
prinplup - 23
Also, I do not like prinplup that much...statwise, hes the worst starter in any pokemon game ever made and it shows. talk2hand
I shoulda picked turtwig.

Ok... I have NO idea how to find my friend code. I went into this room under the Pokemon Hospital and this lady said "You need Friends Codes. You don't have any. Would you at least like to find out your own?" So I go in and get a message not to connect a certain way and shoves me out of the room. Now I can't get into the room... and have NO idea how to manually input the friends codes... or where to put them. gonk
Edit: Yes, I am connecting. I checked.
