It didn't take long for Violet to notice the man, staring at her from around the edge of the lake. Forever grinning face stared staight back, her emerald eyes locked onto his. Stepping forward the last few steps so they were directly facing each other she bowed her head in a sarcastic bow. Her attention was drawn to the star rod, her head on its side like a confused dog as she looked at it curiously. After a moment she said softly. "Is that a weapon?" she asked, shining eyes met his again. As she spoke she shivered, someone else was nearby, she just couldn't see them.

Dream bowed to her in the same fasion: the complete opposite of what a bow should be. He smiled. "Why, yes, it is. It's a rod. It wields celestial light, if you have the right style. I wouldn't mess with it." He spun it between his fingers, allowing a shower of light to emit from the star at the tip. His cyan-blue eyes faced her emerald-green eyes with the same, yet different, hidden power. "What about your own?"

Violets grin seemed to grow as she pulled the silver raiper from where it sat at her side. "This thing? It's a rapier, a sword used a few hundred years ago. It's a shame guns were invented really...they're such fun," she explained. She started to chuckle quietly as she spun her own weapon, doing an accurate immitation of him. "Who are you stranger? You who can control celestial light and sits in one of the only undamaged area's this side of the war?"

"Actually, I control air and healing a lot more than light. It's just a nice little weapon that seems to completely and totally defeat demons. Anyway, you are looking at a just an average human who just happened to become a Star Warrior. My name is Dream Starr. And I mean you no harm, unless you do to me." To prove his point, he sheathed his rod. "Who might you be?"

Vanessa's front door creaked as she opened it. She struggled to step through the overgrown plants along the side of the walkway leading to the main road. Once she got out of the mess of a front yard, she stuffed her hands into her pockets. She walked along the side of the road, looking around at the people flying by on their bikes or driving their cars. All of a sudden she saw a figure floating around in the graveyard across the street.

She nodded in understanding before she bowed her head, once more bowing in a sarcastic manner. "my name is Violet, i'm a chaos demon so you can thank me and my peers for the destruction you find if you head down the road," she replied, her happy tone of voice prooving how much she loved her job. "For an adverage human you don't seem very adverage you know," she pointed out, wrapping her arms around her purple clad waist. The shirt was tailored but had neat cuts where her bat like wings poked through.

"Well... perhaps I might be slightly above average." He grinned. "So... a chaos demon. Interesting... Especially because I've been instructed by my master to prevent what is happening now... You might say I failed, but it's about 300 to one. It's a wonder I'm still alive."

Violet nodded in agreement, crossing to the bench she sat on the back, her legs hanging onto the actual seat. "Actually, its 320 to one," she added helpfully, the grin taking on a mocking quality. After a few moments she asked, "Why would you care what happens here anyway? Hell will win eventually, it always does. You could leave, get away before anything serious happens,"

"Or I could leave after everything serious happens, like I've always done." He sighed. "I'm not going to answer that, as I don't quite know myself." Walking around a bit, he eventually sat down by the edge of the beach in the same position as before. "You don't seem to wish to kill me. Why is this?"

As Vanessa got closer to the graveyard, she saw two figures talking. Both of them looked like they were in a deep conversation... Vanessa loved ruining deep conversations. Vanessa walked over to the two figures. "Tell me what your talking about..."

Vanessa walked over to the two figures. "Tell me what your talking about..." (OOC: Just making sure you know that those two figures aren't us, we're at a beach. I assume you're talking to other characters that aren't being controlled by us, which is fine. Just saying that they won't be us.)

( oh sorry i didn't know you were at a beach i was talking about you )
Vanessa took one look at the figures' faces and ran for her life. The faces had looked other-worldly. Red horns stuck out of their heads, and blood dripped from their shiny, sharp fangs. Vanessa ran all the way to Rocky Shores beach. The water at Rocky Shores looked like an oil spill had just happened, although the beach is nowhere close to where any sort of boat would port. Vanessa looked around, and saw two other figures talking to eachother. She stepped closer, and could already tell that they were nothing like the two figures she saw in the graveyard. "What are you talking about?" Vanessa asks the two figures.

Violet turned her large emerald eyes onto the girl, clown grin stretching a little. With another rustle of her bat like wings she explained to the stranger, "Well, i was just explaining why i'm not about to kill Dream here," she gestured with her hand to where Dream was sitting. Stretching her arms and wings she yawned before continuing to explain. "Theres no benifit to me, at the moment. Don't worry though, when i'm trying to kill you you'll know," her voice was light airy, but you could tell by the gleam in the demons eyes that she wasn't joking.

Watching from a distance, Leila saw no confrontation take place when she was sure there would be. Maybe she had misunderstood the demon; maybe they were the same and didn't want to partake in these silly squabbles. She neared them a bit more, still unsure as to whether she would introduce herself or not. And ordinary girl had seemed to wonder by and engage them in conversation. She was brave for approaching two people who were clearly different from her and simply talking to them. Leila neared even more, still remaining hidden.

Violet looked up sensing someone, supposedly the one she had sensed earlier. With a sudden flutter of movement she was standing on the back of the bench, balancing easily with her wings. "Keeping hidden prooves nothing except you have something to hide you know!" she yelled to the sky, her large eyes keenly scanning the area for the person. They must have been strong, to stay hidden from her.
