There is no best card...geez although Yawgmoths' Will is so broken it can't be the best card cause there is no best card it all depends on situation if you have 10 mana of each color in your mana pool with Upwelling in play well the lotus is a piece of s**t card you hate to waste a draw on. 'Nuff said

I feel that Time Walk is quite powerful - 1U come on ..
Out of Power 9 in my opinion.
Otherwise I can't really figure out the most powerful card in magic.
I'd say Burning Wish or Booster Tutor lol

Demonic_Horde1 I feel that Time Walk is quite powerful - 1U come on .. Out of Power 9 in my opinion. Otherwise I can't really figure out the most powerful card in magic. I'd say Burning Wish or Booster Tutor lol naw Goblin Spy hehe.. Dude, you're forgetting Gleemax. Best card ever. (if you can actually play it... mana screw anyone?? razz )

although the black lotus is really a cool card i think its more what you do with a card rather than how rare or powerful a single card is.

Black Lotus is not the most valuable card in the game.
Splendid Genesis is. If you say you have that card, you're ither...
A: So rich, that you bought one, just to get rid of some of your money.
B: A liar.
C: A theif.
or D: Richard Garfeild.
No website will have that card for sale. Your best bet is finding it on Ebay. for $3000. And even thoes are fake. Only 1 copy was made, and it was given to Richard Garfeild to comemerate the birth of his first child.

There's also proposal, the card he printed to propose marriage to Lily, his wife, but that was a proxy stuck onto an island.

And for the reasons of being a one of alone, it is worth, slightly more than a mint black lotus. I doubt a card as strange and useless as Splendid Genesis or Proposal would be wroth that much to anyone but a hardcore collector, not players.

Black Lotus is one of the greatest cards ever made not because of the rediculously early three mana you get from it but because that mana is in every combination of color. It ties the entire spectrum together with percision matched by none.

Black Lotus is a very nice and useful card in T1 but it is by far NOT the BEST card in the game

Iksargo Skunch Okay, if you have a crappy deck and you throw in a Black lotus to play your scathe zombies first turn, then yes, it's a crappy card that does not justify it's 2k+ price tag. Otherwise, the card is just bat-s**t insane. Actually, playing scathe zombies on turn 1 is devastating. There's a 10 turn clock for you. sweatdrop btw Cradle_2_Grave, I thought Mind's Desire was the most powerful card in the game, more or less letting you play your entire deck for free. Clearly the will is run in that beautiful deck as well, but Desire is more powerful. Desire dies to Stifle Will doesn't

Splendid Genesis was printed total of 116 Copies including Garfields copy However the 115 that are not Garfields Copy are digitally signed by him and have Silver Borders... i happen to some across one at one my shop when somebody was selling ther collection and it is REAL and in mint condition i poffered him $250 for it and he took it and hit the highway With the amount that are around i would probably say it is worth about $18k but i will sell it if i can get one hell of a Deal It is is my Singles Binder of sticker SHOCK ( it is nothing but P9 + like LIbrarys/Gauntlets/and Signed Goods) cheapest thing in that binder are Signed FoW's at $85 each
