Wait a minute? She? What? She hadn't mentioned a gender. Storm pinned her ears and searched the mares head for anything. She couldn't find something, but that didn't mean the mare couldn't hide her thoughts. There were legends, stories, about Nequus that could do it.
"How'd you know it was a she?" Storm pursed, stamping nervously. Her ears swivelled about, but she could find nothing anywhere. No traps, nobody lurking nearby. Unless Mordre was concealing them all.
She narrowed here eyes once, but then dismissed it as a lucky guess. "She's jet black," and that was all they needed to know.
"Leading me there would be nice," she breathed.

The Queen merely blinked at this outburst, but smiled. "I asked if your lover was the mare you mentioned at the beginning of our conversation. You told me she might come to warn me as well, but that the herd was out to get her, one of their own kind, before she could give too much information. When you said they were after your lover, I merely guessed that the friend you mentioned was such. I hope I didn't offend you or anything, it was merely a guess. But yes, I'll lead you there, but you'll need to stick close. Lag too far behind and the herd may think you're following me with evil intentions and all of that crap," she said, rolling her eyes, then stepped towards the exit of the cavern. "And that's the last thing we need, I think. After our little meeting, I should probably make a public announcement to the herd about our intentions and not to harm you or your lover, -- she's jet black, you said? -- and if they do, they shall suffer dire consequences. I'll think of something to tell them," she said the last bit more to herself than to Storm, but shrugged in an equine way and walked towards the exit. "This way, then," she said with a smile. She thought that this mare would probably be suspicious of her now for making such an assumption, a guess, but she was positive they were alone in the cavern. No one else could have been listening, could they? No, no, she didn't think so.
