Trotting out of the teepee with the handle on her horn, Elizabeth walked up to the couple just in time to catch the end of Zaphiro's explanation, adding a brief note of her own. "Indawo's still MIA, actually; I haven't seen him for ages. Ladius hasn't been around for some time either, nor do I expect to see her anytime soon; something about 'training'...and as I'm sure you've guessed by now, Zaphiro, Safi's children are both grown and consequently they, Fortune, and Safi as well aren't around as much. It's been quiet, barring the occassional confused appearance of Kildegard or invasion by Guilian."
That last bit was accompanied by a markedly distasteful snort by the mare as she set down the basket; the reason Guilian kept coming by was to try and woo her. To put it POLITELY.
Brushing aside that fact, she gave the two a smile. "You're the first visitors that have come by in a while, honestly, but I can't complain. A little peace is nice to have from time to time. Apple?" And then she was nudging them closer to Hie.

"Mmm, so I won't be meeting anyone else?" It put her at ease a little. Meeting more than one at a time would be hectic and a little stressful on the mare. More than a little, really, since she'd obsess over everything. The apple being pushed over to her made her smile brightly and she dove for it, teeth clamping into the ripe fruit. As the taste and juice exploded on her tongue her eyes slowly closed and she made a soft sound.
Perfection in a tiny little fruit!
"I'm just glad I won't see Guilian again." Her face twisted into distaste after she finished the apple and then looked over to Zaph - she had a feeling he was pleased as well.

"Probably not, though it's always possible. Saiena is pretty good about coming by from time to time, just to see how things are going." Watching the other mare, Elizabeth ducked her head to hide the smile of amusement provoked by the other mare's enthusiasm; goodness but she was hungry! However, the 'again' provoked an entirely different expression. "You've met Guilian?"
"Unfortunately." Frowning slightly at the memory, Zaphiro's tone was brusque, but he was quick to dismiss it. They didn't need any reminders of THAT. "Luckily, the meeting was brief; he knows better than to try anything again." And if he did...well, there'd be penalties, alright! "But anyway, that's not important now. We came here to see you, after all."

Well, whatever may come she'd be strong so long as Zaphiro was there to keep her calm and keep her from going into blind panic mode. At the question of Guilian she made another face, "Yes, unfortunately is right." It took a lot to get the gentle-hearted unicorn to dislike someone and somehow the stallion had managed it quite quickly.
The foals moved in her stomach and she laughed, "I think the little ones agree." And then she went right back to gnawing on her apple.

Zaphiro was always more than willing to talk of anything but Guilian; however, Hienna's statement had reminded him of something that they'd needed to talk to Elizabeth about anyway.
Smiling at his mate, the blue stallion was soon looking back at Elizabeth. "And while we're on the subject of foals, there was actually something that we wanted to ask you, Liz." If ask was really the correct word, in these circumstances. "If you wouldn't mind, that is."
Ever curious, Elizabeth only needed to hear that much to know that she had to hear the rest...a fact that Zaphiro ought to know himself! Giving him a stern look to remind him of that fact, she was quick to change that look into a smile. "Zaph, ask and then we'll find out what the answer is. How can I know until I hear?"
Right, right. Smiling sheepishly, Zaphiro acknowledged her point with a nod of his head, then glanced one final time at Hienna for the go ahead. After all...they'd be inviting another Soquili into their own little place of tranquility, their home! That was quite a step, even if it WAS a close friend. "Well..."

The unicorn gave a nod of her head, encouraging him to go on. Of course it was best for him to answer and ask the female. She barely knew her, after all, and she was horrible with words. Actually, the mare had almost forgot what he was on about until her brain finally clicked away from the apple and onto the subject at hand.
Amazing how a pregnant mare's attention span altered so easily.
