Bible Black??

I wouldn't say it's the most violent...I've seen MUCH worse in anime out there. Of course, a good anime is not made from being excessively violent. The reason I love Elfen Lied so much is because I felt it had one of the best storylines I've seen since reading the Watchmen. (Anyone who has ever read the Watchmen knows that saying anything at all can compare to it is pretty damned impressive.)

Also...why do people think Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni is more violent? I always felt it only gave the illusion of violence...in that, the situations were not as violent as they seemed. The only times I ever screamed, "Oh my God, that's hardcore!" is when...

...Rika began stabbing herself in the head, and when Shion was killing Satoko. Of course, Shion was the only scary killer of the series...everyone else was wimpy in my opinion. And Rika and Satoko weren't exactly killers, so...yeah.


I don't know, I always felt the violence in Elfen Lied was much more extreme than that in Higurashi. o.O Though I do enjoy both series.

well I think Elfen Lied is the most violent manga/anime that I have ever seen that doesnt invovle hentai...
Elfen Lied is more viloent in the more like grusome head chopping off kind of way...
not being raped or anything like that...
