bitter_revenge I like that they are different, mitsuki knowing that eichi is dead, makes the manga so different from the anime but I like that. But i think that the ending for the manga is a little more conclusive than the anime, because in the anime we are left to assume that takuto remembers her when he sees her and has that look of recognition, but in the manga he says flat out that he remembered everything. But I was glad that eichi was dead... haha... im such an awful person .... but i watched the anime first and when she kept talking about eichi, early on, i said to my friend, i hope that he is dead because i dont want him interfering with mitsuki and takuto hehe. and he was... though i think that part of the anime where she finds out is SUPER sad.... I think thats why they did the anime that way. Cause if you think about it maybe they wanted us to figure it out on our own.

eichi died in the anime and manga xd yep, very true...Meroko stays alive in manga...Eichi started out as one of the dead characters in the begging...

I was su[rised when I read the manga. I watched the anime first, and I had no idea she new eichi-kun was dead!
I wanted Takuto and Mitski to kiss at the end like in the Manga. :'(

What happens to Takuto and Mitsuki at the end of the manga???? Do they get together? What happens? I NEED TO KNOW!

Meroko1919 What happens to Takuto and Mitsuki at the end of the manga???? Do they get together? What happens? I NEED TO KNOW! In the manga 3 years after mitsuki's last full moon concert she becomes a singer again under a new name. She was about to sing her last song when she saw takuto she jumped off stage and ran up to him. He tells her the day of her "full moon" concert he thought he dissappeared but he still knew who he was. when he woke up he was in the hospital. he says he couldn't remember anything at first but after 3 months he remebered everything. He was in a coma but he was still alive. that's why he was a failure as a shinigami. Mitsuki asks why he can speak because he had throat surgery and his vocal cords were removed. Takuto tells her he didnt know why and mitsuki remembered that meroko said the death master and the boss both dissappeared because they used all their power. Mitsuki Thinks The Healed Takuto's Throat. Takuto starts teasing her and asks if Mitsuki cried alot when he dissappeared. She throws a yelling fit and tells him of course! He Promised to protect her. She also yelled about having to say goodbye with out telling him her feeling like with eichi and she cried alot. Mitsuki asks him why he didnt call her or come see her right away. Takuto tells her that that's easy for her to say he couldn't even move his fingers properly. She then yells that his love for her should have been more important than his pride. Takuto steps back a bit and is shocked. He tells her that she finaly learned how to express her feelings. Mitsuki startes crying and appoligizes for being so week and tells takuto she loves him. She also asks him not to leave him anymore and asks him to stay with her always. They Hug and kiss and the crowd goes aww, Mitsuki starts singing New Future and thats it...

Mitsuki was a little psycotic in the manga, because she knew Eichi was dead and she still wanted to see him and everything, but in the anime she didn't know he was dead.
