Misa-KiKo climbs, a little bit clumsily, onto Kito's back. "Thank you Kito. Now if you would, Fly south, south east for approximately five minutes, then turn east. I'll tell you when to stop. It isn't far." Misa-KiKo suddenly became serious. "I'll have to sneak you in, but it is very important that you see what we have."

" No prob. Ok. I'll be very quite. " He opens the window then slowly spreads his wings. " I hope this works. " He jumps out the window and starts to glide. " Ok that worked. " He starts flying south.

Kito and Misa-KiKo flew for about 10 minutes, until they were right over a forest glad. Misa-KiKo said, "Land there, in that clearing. The shrine is just inside the woods."

Suddenly, as Misa-KiKo and Kito walked toward the northern end of the clearing, a beautiful shrine made of black brick, appeared before their eyes. Above the entrance pillars, in Japanese Calligraphy, the words peace and justice carved from deep red ruby, shone brightly in the night. "Well, this is it, the only Kira shrine in the entire city." She led Kito deep into the shrine, through tunnels and pathways, until they were deep underground. They entered a cavernous room, where, at the center, stood a golden alter with a box, carved from sapphire, on top. Misa-KiKo walked over to the box lifted the lid, and pulled out a black notebook.

Kito walks over to where Misa-KiKo was standing. He looks down at the book. " It's that what I think it is? " He asks.

"Yes Kito. It is a death note." Misa-KiKo replied. Years ago, the Shinigami Ryuk, Lord Lighto's shinigami, gave the note to Priestess Misa. She didn't use it; she wanted to keep a low profile. She told me to present it when I thought the right person came along." Misa-KiKo looked very seriously up at Kito. "I think you are that person," she said.
