I've thought about this... I just never found the want to share it. But ah, well.
I think that Sakura relatively was overprotected by Sasuke that she never got to shine and show him that she can handle herself well. Overall, she WAS weaker than Naruto or Sasuke without them having to point it out, but I think she would've redeemed herself more if Sasuke saw her fight against the Sound or her fight against Ino.
But this is all leading to one thing - Sasuke's utter shock when Sakura does some a**-kicking (which will probably be his a** on the end of her kick). If this happens like so, I'm going to love Kishimoto more - it's going to look like beautiful plot build-up.

That is true. But have you guys ever think that Kishimoto might not have notice this?
In the movie, it seems they are working together, so it kind of looks like he already how she fights. In that movie, it seems as though Sakura was getting stronger. So, maybe you guys should start asking questions from points of view, and maybe you might come a conclusion. Just think deep.

But all 3 (now 4) movies have nothing to do with the actual storyline; they aren't canon. So technically, Sasuke never has seen Sakura fight. That's what's so frustrating about it xD

I do think Kishi-sama has something in store. The lack of SasukeXSakura interaction in the Timeskip is going to lead on to something huge.
Although, i am getting worried. I dont know where he's going with Karin...
But anyway, Sasuke's going to probably get caught out. Sakura will end up punching him in the face or something. Or he'll challenge her to an arm wrestling match and say "If you win *coughcough* I'll come back to konoha >:3"
But yeah. He'll get the shock of his life when he ends up in a 50m deep crevice in the earth =D That's what i'm waiting on, atleast.

I think, in the event Sasuke does somehow see Sakura's real strength, something will awaken inside him, whether it be fear, hate, or love.
It better be love. Or I'll hunt down Kishi with a flaming pitchfork. Granted it doesn't turn into cinders on me first...

Woah. O.o I never realized that before, but it makes a lot of sense. Maybe Kishi is waiting so Sakura can surprise Sasuke with her awesome power and drag him home? Then Sasuke can be terrified into loving her impressed by her skills and think of her as an equal.

He has NEVER seen her fight!
Think about it.
-In the Forest of Death, Sasuke was unconscious when Sakura fought. When he woke up and saw her beaten, who knows what he thought. "Tch. Couldn't take care of herself again.. time to kick someone's a**."
-During the Chuunin preliminaries, he missed her fight with Ino because he was once again unconscious. When he awoke, she was no longer participating in the Chuunin Exam. Again, who knows what he thought. "Too weak to make it."
-Hell, even in the filler arc before Sasuke left the village, he was unconscious when she saved him from falling.
[Yeah, I included that filler, yet I'm not going to include the movie where he was actually fighting with her, because that was.. major filler.. >_>]
All Sasuke's really ever seen her do is jump in front of someone, cry, or stand there with a kunai.
And let's not forget the time-skip! Sasuke was kept from seeing Sakura's strength because Yamato jumped in front of her.
Is this being done on purpose? Will Sasuke EVER see how strong Sakura truly is? Could Kishimoto actually be preventing Sasuke from finding out because he has something planned?
Discuss. i think it because it will make more him shocked when he does see her fight ( or when she hits him....... xd )

I've noticed long before. For some reason.. he's just never there.
I wonder if Masashi planned it that way.. Hah. Or could be coincidence.
I hope he's planning something though. He HAS to.

Well, it could be possible that Masashi could be planning something...but then again, it could be a side-ways story. Like he could do a little teaser with sasuke seeing sakura's true strenght, but leaves it at that so we could make up our own stories stare This is why i hate fillers xp

I hope Sasuke can see how much butt Sakura can kick. Because I remember in the episodes of ino and sakura fighting the the proliminaries, Kakashi said to Naruto: "Sakura's perfect control of chakra usage is great enough to even beat Sasuke" and come on people, KAKASHI said it. And thats right, Sasuke's missed all the times Sakura has sacrificed herself to save him and her friends. I bet if Sasuke saw her fight, he would think totally different from her. oh and by the way [Akatsuki.Brat], Im with u all the way. Karin is a slut and she better back off of Sasuke or Im gonna scream because its SasuSaku all the way!!!! Karin is a cool character *twitches*
