Vartan sighed."My name is Vartan...."He turned away and walked off a bit."Sorry.....I surpized you too early...."Thinking he shook his head.His mane covered his face.

"No no, It was just, it's something I've never heard from a stallion before is all. Quite alright really."
She smiled and glanced over as his mane began to fall infront of his face. He did have a beautiful coat, almost looked like rose patterns on it, she wondered just for a moment what he had as a past, if maybe his coat held his own secrets, then again she wasn't sure if he even knew. Although for now, a name and a friendship possiblity was more than exciting for Sarina. Inside her herd she was a lonely member with more knowledge than she led on, but even less respect for her lack of communicational skills.
"Vartan is it? Well nice name,"
Another smile curled around her muzzle as she made her way over towards where he stood. Part of her wondered what he was thinking again, something attracted her want for knowledge and lured her straight to him. Nuzzling him for a moment she moved her noise near the tip of where his mane had fallen and flipped it away from his face.
"So, what now?"

Vartan listened and stood there."Ok..I just felt different..."Vartan smiled at bit and said"Thanks....Whats yours?"Vartab blushed as she nuzzled him and moved his mane out of his face.Thinking why she cared she asked."Why do you care so much of how i am or how i feel right now?"He asked still wondering."We could mess around some more?"

"I'm Sarina."
She paused, listening to the rest he had to say before continuing,
"I get interested in other nequus easily, and you. You seem not to know anything about this world's past, and yet you're a adult, you're the same age as me and know little of the difficulties of this world. You interest me. Not to mention isn't that what any relationship is supposed to do, friendship or otherwise, you're supposed to want to know more and more about the nequus right?"
Taking in a deep breath Sarina's eyes wandered around the area, eventually finding the ocean's shoreline they focused there. A grin appeared around her muzzle again as she turned back to Vartan giving him a playful nudge she took off down the sandy shore,
"Catch me if you can!"
She called back to the Bae stallion whom she was sure she had caughten off guard a bit.

Vartan listened to her."Yeah...And nice to meet you Sarina.I love your name.It's Beautiful!"He smiled and nuzzled her."Yeah i guess."He jumped when she nuged him."Hey get back here!"He took off after her and winnied lightly at her.Trying to keep up with her.

Sarina bolted which boosted her speed just a tad more as her hooves splattered sand in the opposite direction of their landing.
"Thanks! Now all ya' have to do is catch me silly."
She turned her head to see how close the stallion was to catching her, he was just a small ways off.
'Ha,'
Her grin was showing the amusement that happened when she raced. The mare knew sure and well that Vartan would catch up to her eventually as for the simple fact she had been running longer than him, but then it hit her. There was one distinct difference between her and him, he was a bae and she a Jala. Naturally Jala's had stronger wings and therefore could soar into the sky faster and farther than her male friend behind her. Sarina pushed all her strength into running as fast as she could until she found just the right gust of air to get up into the sky with.
"Yes,"
She said under her breath as her purple feathered wings flung outwards just at the right second to carry her upwards. Sarina shifted them, up and down up and down to gain some distance between her and the ground. Once at a fairly good height she glanced back down towards where Vartan was.
"Hey down there!"
She whinnied as loudly as her naturally soft voice would produce. Honestly Sarina was having the time of her life, a new friend, maybe one day a partner and so much energy from within her own body. Part of her felt like a foal again, but of course she worried that being in the air would alert other Jala's who'd come and take Vartan away for Slave trading. The thought itself almost made her land, but then again she saw nobody around, and the air was so fresh. None the less the mare's eyes surfed around the trees and sandy area hoping not to see anyone else, though as far as the eye could see there wasn't anybody.

Vartan stoped.He sighed just a bit.Watching her he stood there putting his head to the ground.Standing there listening to her.Walked to the ocean.He watched the waves.Wind beating on him.He looked at his wings.He didn't know what to do."Sarina!"He winnied and reared up looking at her.He droped back down.He was playing around.

The mare swooped past him and then hit another gust of wind and blew back up into the air happily.
"That's my name, don't wear it out!"
She called out playfully before diving down and flapping her wings quickly to ease her landing into the ocean. It was cool as she landed, splashing water up and allowing the waves to shift in and out around her lower neck. Sarina was in a bit too much for her own liking and folded up her drenched wings and began to wade her way out of the water.
"Well that was fun,"
Smiling her thoughts lay still for a moment or two before her eyes scanned the area once more for any Jala or slave around. The mountains were so far away, and yet everyone wandered here at least once, it was after all, the ocean. As the mare finally got out of the water and onto the shore she shook her coat and spread her wings to air them out just a bit. They were sprinkled with wet droplets and her once dark purple coat was now even darker.

Vartan had his head to the ground.He stood near her.He was thinking about somthing.He stood there looking at the ground.He waited and waited to trick her.Then he can mess around and nibbled on her mane.

Sarina approached the stallion and laughed as he nibbled her mane. Her eyes rolled in amusement before looking around once more, she was being paranoid.
"So, whatcha' thinkin' about?"
She said, her voice soft in almost a whisper. The mare's tailed flicked back and forth as her ears lay still. It was a beautiful day to be at the ocean, the waves lapped up the sandy shore and the occasional breeze made the day even more comfortable.

Her head tilted slightly as Sarina watched Vartan back away from her a bit. It seemed odd that one that had just been so delightful was now, well, whatever he was at the moment. None the less Sarina knew people had their moments, and perhaps this was one of his. She didn't know enough about the stallion to really go around assuming though.

"Who's the lucky mare?"
She said with another soft tone. She had turned into a serious Sarina now since the topic was a bit more straight forwards and defined. Eyeing Vartan with certain understanding she listened as he told her he couldn't even fly, well that he knew of.
"Every bae can fly, they just can't fly as high as Jala...but that's because of the type of wings they have. I'm sure you can fly..."
The mare's mane lay loose to her side as her one ear tilted just slightly to the side listening to the ocean's calm sounds filter in and out. It was a peaceful day out indeed, and company to share it with made it a heck of a lot better.
