He smiled. "Does Ammy wanna do anything? I ran outta things ta say. " He said meekly, sitting and curling his tail around his paws, though the tip still thumped, either on the ground, or on a paw itself.

"I could show you around the Pridelands, or at least Pride Rock," Ammy said cheerfully.
"Or wait until nightfall, the night sky here is gorgeous!" Her words were true. Never had she seen such a clear view of the stars than here. There were even meteor showers often, if one knew where to look.

"Will the lions mind? " He asked, wagging his tail. He liked going and making friends with any creature; but not every creature liked him. He knew this well, but didn't mind it; he loved them anyway!
He blinked at the idea of stargazing. He had done that before, it was quite pretty. But he'd only done it once or twice, sad to say, as he often forgot, or was so exausted from loping around, or being chased away for being too friendly, he fell right asleep. "Sure! that sounds neat. " Night wasn't so far either, was it?

"All of the lions here are friendly. I haven't met an absolutely cruel one in these lands," Amaterasu said. The jagged scars on her side panged, reminding her of that horrible lioness who had dragged her claws aross Ammy's side. That had been outside the Pridelands though.
"Let's get going, and it should be dark sometime around when we get there," Amaterasu said, heading off in the direction of the towering stone structure.

"I have. They're really cool! " He nodded, and started to spin around, sniffing at some scars every here and there, and quicky saying how he'd gotten them; some a lion, some a leopard, some thorns.. One by a cheetah, but cheetahs made very tiny marks, having pretty dull claws. But these were well hidden by his fur, and probably not so easly noticed if he didn't point them out.
This was typical grungeless Fumbi. "Okay. " He said, trotting contently the space between them, then falling in pace beside her.

"Wow," Amaterasu said to his showing of his scars. They were well hidden on his pelt, but it looked, once again, that he'd had rougher luck than Ammy ever had. His energy brought back the "recharge" that her boys brought her.
She'd asked him most of the typical questions that you'd ask a stranger... She decided it was her turn to talk while they walked. However, she couldn't talk of those things either... Perhaps... yes, that would do. She'd tell him about how she got her one and only scar. She hadn't even told the pups yet!
"Yeah, My scar is from an outsider..." She began. "It was night, I was out beyond the borders hunting for my boys. It would've been the first solid food they'd have eaten. But then, out of nowhere, there was a lionness. She was particularly angry, but I couldn't figure out why. I'd made my kill, and she wanted me. She'd wanted to take me away. When I tried to escape, she pinned me, and I barely survived. I left a deep wound on her leg, and she on my side. I'm lucky to be alive. I escaped by spraying sand in her eyes though," Amaterasu finished, quite proud of her cleverness. It was that that had given her the opportunity to escape. She waited for a reaction.

He blinked at her, as she told how she got her scar. That was such a sad story. "Lions can be real mean sometimes. " He sighed, but he still loved them anyway!
"I got too many to remember how I got all of em, just a few. " He nodded, then motioned to one on his shoulder, probably one of the only perhaps that migh thave once been very big, but had shrunk a bit, as he'd got it when he was younger.
"I got thaty one when I was a pup. A lion tried ta eat me. But then I grabbed its ear and didn't let go! Then we played tag. And he said sorry. " He grinned. This wasn't a very sad story, was it? The lion itself had been young, and was just trying to hunt, then realised it would be no game with someone like Fumbi.

She listened intently, smiling at the end of his story. "That's sweet of him, apologizing," Amaterasu said. She kinda would've liked an apology from that brown lioness, but... She wanted more never to see it again.
Ahead the giant tower loomed, the setting sun giving it a wonderous orange glow. It was a symbol, to her, of safety. Lions were about, but none really paid attention. Everyone was friendly here in the Pridelands.
"Royalty lives up there, so you probably don't want to go up," She said when they had reached its base. She lept onto one of the nearby rocks, it was flat and big, fallen off of the towering structure, no doubt.

"Okay! " He smiled, and jumped on the rock too, wagging his tail and sniffing around at it a bit before lying down. "This is a nice rock, yea. " He nodded contently, stretching out his skinny limbs and wagging his tail.

"Over there," Amaterasu said, pointing her nose south-west. "There's a nice rock formation there that makes an above-ground cave. I dug into it a bit though, just to keep things cool." Amaterasu finished. It had been an activity she'd done with her boys. "You can see Pride Rock from there, and you can also cross the border without too much of a walk. It's a good location." She said, gazing across the lands. Something caught her eye, something that had caught her eye before. Amaterasu chuckled.
"See that moving lime green stalk of grass?" Ammy asked, pointing discretely with her claw. Soon after she put it down, a little yellow head quickly bobbed above and then below the grass. "That's Noyana, a Pridelander cub." Ammy said, forewarning her friend.Noyana krept through the grass in her typical stance- her tail was high above the grass line, but she believed it made wonderful camoflauge. She thought that, from an outside point of view, the green tail of hers looked exactly like a stalk of grass.
She'd been searching for the Maned Wolf for a couple of days now, and she'd finally tracked her down. Noyana needed to thank Amaterasu for saving her hide the other day. However, now that she'd seen the wolf with another wolf, she felt she'd simply have to pounce them. Good practice and such. So she slunk closer and closer, tail in the air, towards the pair of them.

"Thats cool. " He said, then watched the green his new friend had indicated. Aww! It was a lion cub? They were so cute! He watched the moving green grass, and pulled himself to the edge of the rock. When he figured the cub was close, he pushed onto the ground, rolling on his back, then using his hind legs to propel him forewrd, so that soon enough he could see the cub, only...
It was upsidedown. "Hi! " He wagged his tail, opening his maw in a playfull grin, and stretching his front legs into the air.

Noyana was so shocked that she'd been pounced instead! She sat up immeidately, figuring that to stalk anymore would be pointless. "Hello," She said, a tad startled. "I've never seen you around here before..." She said, getting a bit in his face, just to investigate. She backed off though, she had to talk to Ammy just for a sec.
"Amaterasu, Thanks for saving our skins the other day." She said happily. Amaterasu had saved the day!
Amaterasu chuckled as Fumbi lept to meet Noyana. Ammy listened for a bit until after she was spoken to, when she jumped down off the rock to join them. "Not a problem Noyana," She said. She was glad to have met this cub again- she was an amusing character.

"I'm neeeeew. " He smiled, rolling to his paws and sniffing at the cub curiously for a moment. Yellow. That was a nice color. She had green and black, too!
"Ammy is a heero! " He said emmediately after hearing the saving things, prancing around the female for a moment, then blinking. "Wait. Why? " He smiled, wagging his tail and perking his ears.

"I just saw Noyana and her friends in a dream... They were in a huge crack in the earth, very deep down. I dreamt that I kicked down a tree to act as a bridge so they may get out. When I woke, though, I didn't know what it meant, so I meandered out to a favorite spot to think about it, and... They happened to be there in real life! There was a dead tree nearby, so I bashed it until it fell in so they could get out." Amaterasu shrugged after telling the story.
Noyana nodded enthusiastically. "Ammy saved our hides! We would've starved down there!" She wouldn't be proud- she did kinda get them stuck after all. Chaka had been hit the worst though, she didn't seem to want to go in so many dangerous places anymore... Noyana hoped it was only a phase.

"You have funny dreams. " Fumbi nodded smartly. His dreams were usually filled with prancing around. But whenever he had nightmares, they were pretty vivid. "Thats cool! " He grinned, and sat, thumping his tail against the ground to make a hollow-like sound.
"Wanna play? " He was bored. Babies were always nice to play with.
