These are a few I like from e-equestrian members. I like what they come up with... geatest fourm ever! so many friendly people with lots of knowledge.
"Ride A Draft, It Makes Your Butt Look Smaller" - Dutchie
"There’s one bit that works on all horses, it’s a bit of knowledge." Canchaser
"Horses are so polite, sometimes when your jumping theyre so polite they let you go first" - ChristinaA
@: Frozia, your quote is one from ChristinaA's signature xP I spend WAY to much time on that fourm LOL! I'm sooo addicted...
AND LAST!
One of my favorite quotes from a great horseman...
"The horse - he's is a living, feeling, decision-making animal. He's willing to learn, but you've got to show him. So you make the wrong thing difficult and the right thing easy. You just fix it up, and let him find it. Notice the smallest change and the slightest try." -- Ray Hunt
I remember my coach telling me something soooo similar to that and a lot of my problems have been fixed with my horse with the thinking of Ray Hunt (and Tom and Bill Dorrance)

Hey, not a member, but I'm sitting here with a 9-year-old-horse-obsessed-family-friend, and she wants to answer so.... "Horses make the world go 'round"

...and Allah said to the wind 'Condense thyself', and the wind condensed itself, and that creature was the horse. Arab proverb gleaned from the pages of Kind of the Wind.
Also, a little bit of advice never to forget, from the mouth of Clinton Anderson- A horse has two wisde of it's brain- the thinking side, and the reacting side. The reacting part is a whole lot bigger than the thinking part, so you have to encourage them to think. They also have a left side nd a right side, so you actually have two seperate horses to train.
Yeah. At my barn, Clinton Anderson is practially God. That's all I can say.

I have a couple that I really like
Horse, thou art truly a creature without equal, for thou fliest without wings and conquerest without sword. - The Koran
If a man lets you ride his favorite horse, he's paid you the highest compliment. - Anonymous
Show me your horse and I will tell you who you are. - English proverb
This last one I found off of some Western website. I thought it was kind of cute. It's called The Cowboy Blessing May your stomach never grumble May your heart never ache May your horse never stumble May your cinch never break

"To ride a horse is to ride the sky" -Author Unknown
And I'm surprised no one has done this one yet...
"The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man" -Xenophon/Winstone Churchill (different wordings for each, but both men are famous for saying something to that affect)
