I am fimiliar with the new series on Scfi as well as both Stargate shows. Stargate is my second scifi love.

I like the idea of general scifi. And I agree on not mixing, although I did read a well done Star Wars/Stargate SG-1 crossover fanfic.

I'm all for the general sci-fi guild! I love sci-fi but unfornutly I don't get the channel crying I miss is so much!

Cool. I'd kind of like to know more about Stargate. ^^

And, Padme, you'd love my friend Allie, for she loves BSG. ^_^ Both series, too.

nothing like watching a show about a device that creates a wormhole to other planets XP.

A great site to visit to learn more is Gateworld.net. They have an omnipedia kinda like a wiki of all things Stargate. I'd be more than willing to take the Stargate threads under my wing. Currently there are two sereis airing, One beg screen movie, two direct to dvd movies in production, and a third sereis in the works.

And I've participated in Stargate rps.

I'd like to suggest one additional thing for Sci-fi. If we are going to have all of these movies and shows and whatnot made into a universe for the characters, why not add games as well. I personally liked the Post Apocalyptic setting of Fallout games. And Pariah seemed okay too, though it was confusing at times. And also I know atleast one other person might like the idea of a Halo RP, which might be kinda good considering the third game coming out, and finally, some others might like the idea of a Starcraft RP.... Hell, to support the battlefield idea(Sort of), we could even add Unreal Tournament to it just for the sake of fighting.

Not suggesting that all of this be added at once, but expand apon it, or even have a vote to see which ones we'd rather have and which ones we wouldn't and stuff.
