"Oh..." Damien said in understanding. He took a seat next to Thalia and looked at the lake. To be honest he had a slight crush on Thalia. She was pretty, smart, and had a lovely voice. He just wasn't sure if she would be happy about that though. Afterall, he wasn't good at anything and he didn't exactly look appealing. "Well.....there is someone...." he replied without moving his gaze from the lake.

Thalia's heart skipped a beat as Damien sat next to her, they hadn't gotten very close to eachother for awhile. "Really..? Would you mind telling me?" She tapped the pond's surface.

Damien watched Thalia tap the ponds surface. He took in a deep gulp and tried to calm his racing heart. "I don't mind telling..." he replied as he felt himself get nervous.

Damien dreaded this moment. What if he was rejected? What if she didn't want to speak to him again? He didn't want to lose Thalia. She was very dear to him. "Thalia.....I like you...a lot." he said. He could feel his cheeks flush. He stood up and waited for her anwser.

She was a little shocked, she was sure he'd say Demetria! "Uh-- awww Damien you're so sweet." She said with a little smile.

Damien didn't feel very confident with the answer that she gave him. He sighed and looked down. He knew that she probably didn't expect him to like her so much. He didn't know what to say or think.

thalia heard his sigh and then felt a twinge of doubt. She was about to say something when suddenly a rustle startled her and she fell into the pond. "OHHHH." She took a huge gasp of air and began to laugh, her laughter so reverberant and unique. She smiled and pulled Damien's leg hard, splashing him into the pond.

"Woah!" Damien yelled out as he fell into the pond with a big splash. Well....This was pleasant. He looked over at Thalia to see her laughing though so he didn't feel so bad. He liked her laugh. It maked him want to laugh along with her.

She giggled more and saw Damien seem more at ease. 'Ah he's so cute, just needs some confidence!' She became a bit shy and took courage and took a hold of his hands in the water and smiled shyly.

Damiens eyes widen slightly as he felt Thalia grasp his hands in the water. 'So that means....' he trailed off in thought. He looked over at thalia and gave her a big smile. He felt happy inside now that he knew she had some feelings toward him.

Thalia giggled a bit at Damien's expression and then closed her eyes and lean foward. She gave him a little kiss on the cheek.

Damien let out a gasp as Thalia gave him a kiss on the cheek. He felt his cheeks get really hot. He could feel his heart beating a mile a minute. He could swear that Thalia could probably hear it to.
