Chaos had unleashed itself that day. A beautiful day soon turned into a day full of chaos. Natsumi was now missing, nowhere to be found. They were all worried.

“Where could she be ?”

“I have no idea…”

“Maybe… this has something to do with that aura that we felt a while back.”

“That’s a high possibility…”

w-what’s happening ? I remember a bright red light coming towards us and then… she started waking up when she noticed two arms around her. She looked up to see who it was that was holding her and saw Yusuke.

“Keiko !Thank goodness you’re awake !” exclaimed Yusuke as he set Keiko down.

Keiko was a bit groggy and tired, she barely had enough energy to stand up, eventually she sat down on the floor. She turned around, she felt like something was missing, then it hit her…Natsumi…where was she ?

“Oh my gosh ! Where’s Natsumi ?! Is she aright ?!” she asked with concern, realizing that Natsumi wasn’t there. She was really worried about Natsumi. She remembered a red light and a loud boom but after that nothing.

“Keiko, please calm down.” said Shuichi calmly. He was trying to figure out where Natsumi could be and why she went missing.

Keiko was very fidgety, her head was turning and turning and turning. She was really a worrywart. She then looked at Kuwabara. Kuwabara started panicking. He didn’t know what to do, tell the truth and end up making Keiko panic even more or lie about Natsumi, that she was home safe and sound. Keiko would probably explode if she found out that he was lying. She’d probably even punch Kuwabara for lying to her .

“Uh… the thing is… well…” Kuwabara was stuttering, knowing that Keiko would get worried and well, be Keiko , panicking, screaming, you know…


“The thing is Keiko, when we found you, you were unconscious and well… we didn’t see Natsumi anywhere…” said Yusuke who was obviously trying as to not make Keiko worry. But he failed, Keiko started panicking.

“ WHAT ?! So, WHERE’S NATSUMI ?! OH NO !! What do we do ?! what do we do?! what do we do ?!”

Yusuke started getting pretty pissed. He tried to control his anger, his head was as hot as a boiling pot, maybe even hotter. It was impossible to keep his cool right now.

“KEIKO !! CALM DOWN !!” Yusuke said, practically screaming at Keiko as he grabbed her shoulders. He was getting so frustrated and couldn’t think straight. Keiko was making it worse; her screaming wasn’t helping at all.

“But Natsumi…” replied Keiko with a worried tone. She was really worried about Natsumi. So much questions roaming in her head. Where is she ? What happened, so much that she can’t answer.

“Don’t worry Keiko, we’ll find her.” reassured Kuwabara

Suddenly, Shuichi unexpectedly started running, running to who knows where.

“Huh ? Where’s he going ?” asked Kuwabara who seemed to be a bit confused.

“Come on we better follow him…” said Yusuke as he ran towards the direction Shuichi went.

This feeling…it was the same as before… thought Shuichi as he was heading towards the park.

As soon as he arrived at the park, he saw a white flash. He came closer to see where the white flash was coming from. He was surprised… it was from Natsumi. He stopped running. Yusuke and the others also saw what was happening, and like Shuichi, they were also surprised and slowly stopped running.

“is that…who I think it is ?” asked Yusuke rhetorically.

In the far distance they could see Natsumi emitting while light. They could feel some strong spirit energy coming from her.

“Oh my gosh ! what’s happening to Natsumi ?!” panicked Keiko as she continuously stared at Natsumi.

What’s going on here ? Kurama thought. He found it weird that Natsumi was emitting such light and spirit energy. And what’s more it seemed like she got kid-napped earlier, that things have been planned out.There was probably some reason behind this. Either she was being used as bait to get us or… she actually obtains spirit energy… and a strong one at that… but how ? he thought logically still stunned at what was happening.

She felt a warm aura around her. Though her eyes were closed she didn’t see darkness but a bright white light.

“Natsumi, Natsumi, Natsumi…”

She heard someone calling her, it was heard all around her, echoing.Where is that voice coming from …?She thought. She looked around to see where it was coming from but nothing, nothing was there. As she turned she saw the light getting brighter and brighter. The voice that she had heard was very loud form within the light.

Her eyes slowly opened, seeing something glowing, lighting up. She didn’t feel anything around her. She felt like she was floating and to her amazement she was. She realized that she was in actuality, floating in mid-air. No tricks included. She was surprised. She didn’t know what was happening. Was she dreaming ? Was she hallucinating ? imagining things ? she really didn’t know. Everything seemed unnatural yet she felt that everything that was happening was real.

“Interesting, very interesting…” said a man with long black hair and yellow cat-like eyes coldly. He was intently staring at what was happening. He was the one who made this all happen, who caused all of this trouble to occur. It was all his doing.

“Lord Kazuki, their coming, What do we do now ?” asked a mature looking woman as she noticed Yusuke and the others nearby. She had long purple hair that was tied up in a messy bun and her eyes seemed sharp, they were red. She didn’t seem worried to see the spirit detective

“Hm ?” he smirked as he put his thumb at the bottom of his chin and his index finger curved, leaning against the front of his chin and stared at Yusuke and the others and then at Natsumi. “Let’s…observe for now, let’s not make our move yet…okay Kumiko?” he said not removing his gaze at Natsumi.

“Mm” she nodded in agreement as she averted her eyes form her master to Natsumi.

Natsumi slowly and gently got fell from the air and onto the soft grass of the park. She didn’t feel a thump whatsoever, it was as if there was a cloud that cushioned her fall. The bright white light she was emitting had vanished. She was still staring at some random place, still shocked at what had happened.

W-what’s going on here ? that couldn’t have been real can it ? was It all a dream ? my imagination ? …Her thoughts trailed on and on as she continued on thinking if this was all real.

While Natsumi was busy thinking she didn’t notice that Yusuke and the others were running towards her. Yes they started running again once they saw that Natsumi was slowly falling to the ground. Keiko was the first one to come near her.

“Natsumi ! Oh my gosh are you okay ?!” she asked as she sat near Natsumi, giving her a big hug.

Natsumi was still confused at what had happened. She barely heard Keiko talking to her. Everything still felt like a dream. Everything that just happened, it was so unrealistic, but she knew that everything that happened was real. Every single detail of it, floating, emitting light. She knew that she didn’t just imagine these things. There were so many questions that were lingering inside her head, questions she wanted answers to, ‘what happened, what’s going on and what not. She just continued to stare at Yusuke and the others, hoping that they knew something about what had happened. From the looks on their faces, Natsumi could see that they were a bit shocked and surprised. They just stood there, staring at her with questioning faces. She knew that they saw what had happened.

“Let’s leave for now. We can’t let them find us…yet. We’ll keep close eyes on her…” said Kazuki calmly and coldly as he jumped out of the tree and vanished.

Kumiko stayed for a bit, staring at Natsumi for a while but soon left, following her master.

“Um… Natsumi…” said Keiko softly and worriedly as she stopped hugging Natsumi and stared at her with worried eyes.

“Oh I’m sorry, I’m fine please don’t worry about it…” replied Natsumi, giving a faint smile. She didn’t know what else to say, if she’d ask them if they knew anything about what had happened, would they be able to answer it ? She doubted they could.

What happened was something inhuman, unnatural, unrealistic; was there anyone who could explain this ? Natsumi wanted answers but she doubted that anyone could give it to her.
