I do have this opinion on dating, the guy must be in pursue!!! If a guy isn't willing to pursue me, they can forget it! But, i also hate that "hard to get" thing. I mean, if you like the guy, why confuse him? I personally think it's stupid. But, i do like the idea of the guy coming to meet the parents(hehe, reminds me of ben stiller), but not necessarily having to "impress them". I would have to have him come to church with me, to my church. I love my church.

Well it depends, you can date but there's no need to rush things after all love can't be rushed plus, all in God's time is perfect. So there's no need to rush things.

I think that dating is a positive experience, where you can connect with someone, who though they might not be the one you will marry, will be a suitable partner to engage with in pursuit of happiness and fullfillment in life. If you do not date and wait for 'the one' you will a)lose valuable communication skills and b)pigeon hole yourself, and maybe even scare her/him off because you see her as the one. So dating is a necessary experience in life. God demands of us worship and respect, but he does demand us to constantly do this through ceremony, but in everything we do and as he spreads love, we through dating should spread our lesser love.

how about just become friends then, pletzurrai? cuz if you become friends with somone, get to know them that way. it would increase social skills, make a friendship, and if you find out they aint the one, then you can keep the friendship instead of haveing to break a relationship...

I think its really cool that God already knows who we might marry someday, so when (if) you pray for your future boy/girlfriends/spouce God knows who you're talking about, even though you don't. I think that is so cool smile

I dont think dating is wrong... I'm not aloud to date until i'm 16 but I really dont have a problem with that... If you're ready to date and you really like a person why not?
My rules for dating?? Havent really thought much on that but I know that I wont date a guy that I dont know really well...
I think anything past kissing before marriage is too far... Everytime you go farther(really anything including sex) you're giving a part of yourself to that person that you can never take back...
Yes, I believe there is one person out there that is meant for me and only me...

I'm extremely old-fasioned in my views on dating, but I think the guy should ask the girl out. I find nothing wrong with dating, but I don't think they should hold hands until they've been together a while. O.o
I usually have different beliefs on that stuff, and I do agree with the Bible that we should have No Sex before marrage.

i found out one thing within the last 6 months: people think guys and girls are probly dating if they hang out together.. even my youth pastor and half if not 3/4 of the people at youth thought i was dating her.. sheesh.. i know i may be a flirt-a-holic and all.. but still.. i dont want ta date.. just have close friends of both genders.. just like best friends are.. plus i'm thinkin of goin into a program called MC where there's no dating allowed.. soo, ya..

I know someone who is very much a flirter, makes me uneasy sometimes. He just likes to *ahem* hug alot. Sometimes it's uncomfortable, so just make sure that you're not harming anyone in your flirting, okeeday? Not saying you are, just be careful, winder.

I'm a flirt-o-halic! Well...kinda. People say I am but really...I'm only "flirty" with my close friends sweatdrop Like, I'll sit on my girlfriends' laps if they're being mean to me or insist a piggyback ride from my guy friends. It's the guys I do like that I'm incredibly shy around gonk

I think that people should at least wait until high school before they start dating only because in Elementary School, i think you are to young and that you should be more focused on your school work and graduating.
Also my mother is one of those protector freaks who says that I am not allowed to date until I am in Grade. 9
