Eureka, the mysterious doctor (who will remain mysterious, apparently) is completed!
So my quest is basically done now. May make a few changes here and there, or add a bit more, but eh. I'm done.
Amari: Yay!
Dr. Caulfield: Yeah, eureka. x.x* *resumes playing video games*

((This concept is flippin' sweet. <3 I've never heard of this creature before, but it makes a very interesting concept. I really like the way things from her past come through in her present concept, like her "pet rock" ability. That really made me smile, but it makes sense too given her past.
Her personality seems to be a nice blend of traits. It'll be interesting to see how others react to her habit of following them! I also like the way her relevation about her past changes her personality. It should be fun to RP her as she grows.
I also like your Guardian, and I want to find out more about her... woo for mysteriousness!
I guess the main thing I would want more info on here is her past. What, exactly, about this specific person was SO interesting as to make her forget the very thing that defines her as an Androanzi, and not kill him? I just wish there was a little bit more information about this.
Also, is there one person that she followed, or two? It seems like there was only one person, but you keep using "they" and "them." Either pick a gender for this person or find some other way to refer to him/her, because the extensive use of "they" is confusing and makes me feel like there are multiple people. Sorry, this is a really nitpicky thing, but it's my 2nd biggest grammar pet peeve. XD
...hope this helps! You have a great idea here, so keep working!))

(( Thank you! heart Glad to hear it captures your interest so. <3
Hm, considering I'm keeping my past under white text anyway for those who wish not to be spoiled, I do suppose adding more wouldn't hurt--and would probably help with the understanding of her past. I'll add a bit more about the person.
Heh, I'm a huge user of the "singular they" when coming to vague/unknown persons because him/her are too gender specific for my liking. >> << I'll find something to do. Thanks. ^^ ))

((Check this out. I thought there were a lot of water-based characters, and so I went through and charted them. Insanity, I tell you. ^_^
Name [Race] [Guardian]
Characters with Water-based Races and/or Powers Artemis [Moon] [Faeyas] Kiran [Selkie] [Eamane] Kaveri [Nagini (Naga)] [Pales] Leith [Kelpie] [Pukio] Nekura [Water Elf] [Sora Icefreeze] Jiang [Shen-Lung] [Fantasy_Rocks13] Sydney [Zora] [Little_Phantom] Melanie [River] [Cerena] Trent [Kraken] [eternaldelusion]
Characters questing with Water-based Races and/or Powers -Unknown- [Kluddle] [zigeunerweisen'] Katsumi [Yuki-Onna] [Drakochan] Emi Maiha [Undine] [Kaori_luv] Ursela [Swamp Hag] [eternaldelusion] Sebastian [Merman] [Yiiei]
Odd, isn't it? There sure are a lot.
EDIT: Re-location into the main thread.))

(( o.o Wow, there is a lot of water-based/powered creatures. xD I never knew there were that many, though I did know there had to be at least a few. Wow.
Heh, good job gathering the list, by the way. xD ))

(( Shoot, I posted that in the wrong thread. I thought I was posing in the GotP main thread. Sorry 'bout that, my Mozilla Browser's tabbed windows were a little crowded.
Any who, I do like your quest. The concept is nice, but it was a little difficult for me to read with the constant bolding and italicizing. I feel like you should try to stay with one or the other for emphasis. Or maybe it is something I am not totally understanding.
I do love how you managed to keep the killing aspect limited to the urge to kill, not an actual power that kills. It is sort of refreshing, and I wonder how the child would feel if she made the connection between the urges, night time, and her past. Would she hide herself at night? Would she embrace it? So much fun.
I shall edit my post and re-locate it into the proper thread. Sorry about the inconvenience. ))

(( No problem! 3nodding I was wondering why it was there, but I didn't mind.
Heh, the bolding was to show important points for those lazy skimmers (like me sometimes *coughhack*), and the italics were more minor, but still important details. I may just take the italics out all-together because you aren't the first person who has mentioned that.
Thank you! I figured the urge could be plenty fun to play with as opposed to a murderous little girl who simply just kills, kills, and kills, and plus, it avoids any godmodding incidences. ))

Her history has been extended and now given its own post! The so-called 'they' has now been given a name, Anguma, so now he is easier to identify as well. 3nodding Feel free to reread it if wished; I do believe it is better this time.

Okay, again a quickie crit, since I gotta get back to work. If I'm bringing up something you already covered, sorry. >.>;
First. This is probably the most kickass creature I've ever read about. Dunno where you found it, but...kickass. I'm really excited to see something from an african mythbase, since we seem to have a lot of European/Asian.
Second. I'd love to see other GotP kids' reactions to being followed.
Third. This concept is awesome start to finish, so there's really very little I can think to improve on it.
Fourth. With that said, I'm so glad you're playing with the theme of "trust" in her personality. I like themes, I think they enhance characters, and it seems trust, or the lack thereof, would play a huge part in her life. So, I guess that's more just a kudos. : P

Thank you, Sarielle! heart
I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy my concept so much. ^.^<3 Hopefully, you'll get to see the way others react to Amari. Also glad to hear that you can't think of many ways to improve it; t'is reassuring, though if you think of anything at all, do tell. 3nodding
