Now that the cruel Numa was distracted, it was her chance! With speed that might not be expected of her, she quickly straitened her front legs, bringing her upper body up in one fluid motion. She head butted him hard in the shoulder that held the fish, making him loose his grip on the poor fish.
She had hoped he would just let go of the fish, letting her head butt him to distract him long enough to run away... but this would have to do for now. If she got a couple of teethmarks.. it'd be worth saving her fish. And at least he was distracted.
The goddess quickly jumped back into a defensive position, the now freed fish fluttering to a secure spot behind her wings.

he had not even seen her coming, completely absorbed by his Uncles stare. taken by surprise, he yelled out in pain, as his he lost allot of feeling in his arm for a moment, causing him to lose grasp on his captive. eyes wide from beneath his skull. he staggered backwards away from her. slumping forward, with his Paw grasping his shoulder firmly. the pain quickly subsided, leaving a dull ache, but in his mind, it was as if she had just stabbed him. trembling slightly, as his rage began to build, he jerked his head up, glaring at the defensive Female before him "you are going to PAY for that!" he screamed at her, his voice echoing in his own throat. ignoring the undead Coffee that sat as still and looked as uncaring as ever.

She growled lowly, even the offensive sound seeming more like a delicate pur for her. The fish had moved away from her, going back into the grass behind her to hide. Her fur no longer flowed and swam in the breeze, it lay against her body like any other Numa's. She was more concerned about her health than her apperance right now.
"I was merely getting my fish back. I had every right too, you were hurting him... And when I did nothing at all to you." Her eyes narrowed again, watching him and only him now. "You may be stronger than me.. But I'm pretty sure I'm faster..."

well that was probably true. since he spent most of his time with Jedrek, who spent most of his time remaining completely still, Jayce had taken oh the dead like habit of not moveing. but he didn't care, he didn't care that he was in the wrong here, he didn't care that she had every right to do what it took to protect her friend. she had struck him, and he did not like that, not in the least.
long body curling up, the bony verdantly along his back arching, the fur around it needling with intimidation. a high hiss emitting from under his skull. there was only one thing on his mind, and that was to make sure she never touched him again.
he circled around her, slowly moveing closer, and closer at he went, makeing sure to face the bone spikes along his limbs in her direction, just in case she decided to attack. finally spinning around, he swung his long swimmers tail at the female's head
Jedrek watched the events, interested to see the Numa Calypso again, and curious as to why they were fighting.

The female yelped and quickly scampered to the side, ducking just in time for his tail to zoom over her head, the wind from it blowing her delicate fins out of place. Claws dug into grass for traction, and she swiftly bolted away while he was off balance, heading direction for Jedrek. Now, whether or not she got there in time to dart behind him to hide, that was for the next post's decision.

continuing his rotation, tail slamming on the ground as he turned to face her again. lifting a claw and swiping it as her as she retreated back, severing several blades of grass instead as he missed her. "ARRG" he growled frustrated, then started after her. only to pull to a stunned halt, as her decorated form vanished and he was left starring into the sunken eyes of his uncle.
Jedrek continued to watch, glancing down at Calypso as she ran behind him. once she got out of his eye sight, and turned his attention back up to Jayce, not at all surprised that Jayce intently pulled back, it was a normal reaction from the young Numa. but how the situation would unfold now, was a mystery. "have ya found my claw yet?" he asked, monotoned.
Jayce scowled, looking away from Jedrek and to what features of the female he could see. "sure. use the dead one to hide!" he hissed

Calypso wasn't too proud to retreat and hide.. If it came between having her beautiful body hurt, or her pride hurt... She'd of course hide. In fact it made her laugh softly when she heard the annoyed hiss of the skulled candy. In her mind, she had won. She glanced around the rotting Numa to smirk at Jayce, before darting behind him again, so that Jayve would have to go threw his uncle, or around.. And in that case she'd just play a game of duck duck goose. She could run for quite a long time after all.
"I'm just doing what needs to be done to get away from you." She teased, voice still smooth as fresh water. She then glanced up at the numa she'd hid behind. Of course she recognized him... Even if she had only glanced at him out of the corner of her eye.. How COULD she forget? She barely grimaced now.. After all, she had decided last time that he was.. special. Even if he was revolting. She was careful not to touch his rotting flesh, or step on the drops of blood.

"all that talk and you take to hiding" he snorted, and arched his back a bit. "so how long can you stay behind there eh?" he caught his Uncles gaze again. he felt a shudder run though his bones. he hated it when his Uncle stared at him like that, unblinking, unmoving, a fierce sight indeed.
Jedrek didn't care what his nephew decided to do at this point. he was just waiting. watching, and he found... that if he started at Jayce long enough, Jayce would eventually make a choice, and usually calmed him down to.
Jayce sat down, uncomfortable, hunching, and finally looked away. "fine!" he snapped "stay there, coward"
Jedrek glanced behind him, raising a brow at the female hiding behind him. "hello again"

"Good evening dear." She purred, smirking widely. She slowly shifted a bit to the side, in order for Jedrek to see her better, better to make a conversation. She wasn't rude after all. Well... to some people. She glanced over him, grimacing softly at the leg missing. "A bit lop-sided today?"
She glanced over to Jayce, watching him still cautiously. Her fur didnt fly or flow.. her fish were still hiding. But even without them, she looked pretty.

Jayce didn't even look at her. he sat, hunched over, glaring acidly at the grass in front of him rough fur rippling around his patruding bones. interested only in his disgruntled thoughts.
Jedrek lifted the arm with his missing claw, and blinked slowly at it. "second time its done that" he told her, makeing a slurping sound and lowering his stub back to the ground. "did you lose somethin' as well" he said in more of a statement then a question. eying her.
Jayce snorted and glanced up, glaring coldly at her. she it seemed she already knew Jedrek. he was willing to bet she was just as stupid as all the other Numa about Jedrek.

"Actually... I did." She frowned slightly, remembering her lost fish. She looked away from the two to the batch of grass that she had left her fish in. "Malta, Hermes.." A moment later, the fish came fluttering from their hiding places, making a wide turn around Jayce, so he couldnt snatch at them too.. Until they were by their master's side. "Atlas, my third fish is missing." A thin paw raised to carress each of the fish before they moved to nestle under her wings securely.
She turned to stare at Jayce for a moment, then moved further away from Jedrek, sitting beside him instead of behind. It was a bigger risk... But the dead, rotting smell of Jedrek was making her stomach turn...

"missing? or ran away?" Jayce said, coldly he was not happy that his Uncle had interfered. though he was feeling allot less violent toward the situation. his head clearing, while he still held his anger toward her. he not longer had the desire to cover his paws in her blood.
Jedrek acted as if he had not heard Jayce's comment, still watching at Calypso moved from behind him, blinking slowly and moveing his eyes over the Fish she had summoned back. "where did you lose him?" he asked slowly. finding it an appropriate question for the situation.

She glanced to Jayce with narrowed eyes, not looking amused in the least. Like her fish would willing leave HER. She 'hmph'ed and turned back to Jedrek, still frowning slightly. At least there was someone here that was worthy talking too.
"Not far from where we are at now... I was just walking threw the grass, and I looked back... And Atlas was gone! I've tried retracking my steps, but the grass is so thick and tall here..." She paused for a moment, then pouted at him. "If you help me find him, I'll help search for your foot."

"seems logical ta me" Jedrek admitted, glancing around behind him into the grass, then over to Jayce.
"what?" he snapped. "sure, I'll help look for it" he added darkly "just hope I don't find it first" he smalled him tail roughly on the ground a couple of times. then pulling himself to his feet, he turned and crawled away though the grass, vanishing to continue his search. to of cource continue looking for his uncles Claw, having no interest in that stupid Fish... but she didn't need to know that.
Jedrek watched Jayce go, makeing a slurping noise again, then began parting the grass with his stub of an arm, finding nothing to say, he searched out in silence. every now and then, he would make that same slurping noise, as if it was some kind of habit.

She 'hmph'ed in Jayce's direction, hiding a frown. If he found the fish first... would he REALLY hurt it? She sighed and moved to follow Jedrek, stepping beside him and trying not to look TOO repulsed. But she did whince when he made that.. disgusting slurping sound...
She let some time pass in silence, snaking threw the grass, head inclinded and looking around carefully.
After a bit she cleared her throat and eyed him. "So.. How do you know that charming little brat?"
