Nalini couldn't help but blush a bit at his words "I was just stating my observations..." she trailed off.
She sped up a little bit at the promise of being closer to their destination. As the reached the top of the hill, she unconsciously sucked in her breath. The view was simply breathtaking. She realized that she had been holding her breath, and let it go again before mumbling "It is beautiful..."
She shook her head laughing "I have never really thought about becoming a parent. I don't see many male soquilis, so the idea has never really popped up up... I have never interacted much with any Soquilis to tell the truth" Her eyes widened slightly in alarm "Why? Are there any specific soquilis that I should be wary of?" her eyes scanned the area as if expecting something to pop out of the grass anytime soon.

"I am glad you enjoy it!" His eyes left hers and went back to the landscape. It was a gorgeous view, with different areas of the land being shown here and there. Once he noticed that they were in a comfortable position, he layed his sword down next to his foot as always.
"Well neither have I, I guess parenting is just one of those things that happens when it does." He continued to nod, and he shook his mane at the breeze. "I am sure you will meet many Soquili, no need to worry. There are all different types.." And at that comment, he noticed that she seemed to be very alarmed.
"I apologize! If anything you are safe right now, I have my sword handy and all." He shifted on his feet, feeling bad for worrying her. "I just meant there are kinds to be wary or, and to watch for. The two most atrocious kinds are Kalonas and Skinwalkers.. They are almost always dark hearted, and will kill on sight of a prey. I have seen some exceptions to Kalonas, but Skinwalkers I assume are the worst." He looked back at her comfortingly. "I am sure you will be alright, but if you ever hear of them around the area, just keep your senses up."

Nalini nodded. She wasn't completely denfenceless. Growing up without parents did do wonders for skills in fighting off other live beings, even if she was a girl. She just couldn't help but be a bit wary at the thought. "I thank you" she said mildly "I am not sure I would be able to tell the difference that easily."
She smiled at him before furrowing her brows in a mild wonder "It's odd isn't it? I had never imagined talking about becoming a parents for many years, and here I am, discussing parenting with an almost complete stranger" she laughed
"I DO want to meet new soquilis. Thats why I first set out. I'm just not that experienced in it. Socializing is still a bit foreign to me" she trailed off, unconsciously noticing that the light tug of the wind on her mane had gotten a bit stronger since they had arrived at the peak. She had come across many beautiful things in her life as a wanderer, but this definately topped her list. Most likely would make it to a top 5. She giggled at her childish thoughts before falling quiet once again, just enjoying the scenery and the presence of another soquili.

"Well that's what makes life so interesting, Nalini. It also just means that we get along well, and can open up to each other." Turning his head away as if he were looking at the scenery, he felt his face blush up at his comment. He wasn't usually this open to mares, and he couldn't believe the way he was acting. Maybe he just did feel comfortable in front of her.
"Don't worry, socializing never requires experience per say. I am not that experienced myself. I guess it just depends on who you run into, and what experiences you have." He smiled as he turned back to her. His face was normal again, and he was happy to continue chatting about such issues.
"I am sure you will make friends easily, there are many kind hearted Soquili around here." He could definitely see Nalini chatting away as he always observed other females doing. "Once you find the right Soquili, you will see how easy it is to make friends." Kitsune may not have had many himself, but the ones he did keep made him very happy.

((God, sorry for taking so long. I'm almost done with the school year, so the workload should lighten up soon))
She smiled gently "I must admit, I've never felt this much at ease with another soquili before. I guess we just have matching personalities" she giggled "it DOES help that we're both the same sexy color too" she said, switching to a more playful mood, before going back to a slightly more serious voice.
"Do you think..." she trailed off, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, before finishing her sentence "do you think you might be able to introduce me to some of the others one day?" she flicked her ears slightly, suddenly embarrased "or I don't know... just... point me in their direction or something?" Her face was emotionless for only a few seconds before her mask cracked and she started laughing at herself. "God, I sound pathetic".
