You want to surpass TGE?
Here's a tip: be original. Include the basic stuff any good SW guild has, but try not to copy too much.
Especially their RP. That's just waiting for a GAIA Mod to descend upon us for heresy.
I would suggest making our own versions of some of their threads. The OGG was really helpful, and seems like it would be here, eventually.
Also, we need a way of creating a rule system for mods. No offense, but the system shouldn't be based on emotions. Anything a mod wants to say to someone else in any emotional way should NOT be said in a guild, through a character that is a mod. Stuff like that should be discussed elsewhere, in privacy, to keep the peace.

Perhaps we can set up a collaborative fan fiction project. I have a basic story idea that we can use, have several guild members work together to gather ideas, and then have a group of people take turns with the writing.

I have one. You know how Cale has his "Outlaw's Guide to the Galaxy"? Well, why don't we do our own version but instead of just SW we have entries from all Scifi and Fantasy things. Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica (new and old), etc. We could call it the pilot's guide to the galaxy or something like that.
Entry number:
Name:
Catagory: (Ship, Technolgy, person, species, etc)
Show/movie: (identify which one)
Example:
Entry: 1
Name: Millinium Falcon
Catagory: Ship
Show/Movie: Star Wars

Why not just make a subforum for every single possible topic there is while we're at it? lol
No really, it's fine. More often than not, uber sci-fi nerds are gonna be gamers too, so it kinda goes hand in hand, so I'm all for it.

IMO, There's no need for different forums for everything. I mean, it works, but it makes everything seem kinda... detached. Personally, only one or two forums with a number of threads for the subjects just seems like it would work better.
