She nodded, glancing him over. Wasn't too bad. Not too bad at all. "Alot of other pae don't really have themes." Niday softly spoke, thinking of her oldest brother Raken.

Hula Bob smiled and said, "Yeah, very true. I've met alot of pae. Some do and some don't. It's nice to set and watch all the different pae meet, fall in love, have family and then it starts over with the family." He did like it, but watching was starting to eat at him. Would he get a second chance at love?

"Fall in love?" She should have known he was another one of those pro love guys. "I've always found it...illogical. Love is blind and love blinds you. It is simply one big distraction." Niday gently reached up and took out the flower, twirling it in her hand as she watched while walking. No one could ever fall in love with her anyway. She was as cold as the darkside of the moon

Hula Bob shook his head. "Ah, but you haven't been in love have you? It's different when you are. You'll see." He didn't go any further then that. Sure it may blind you, but it was a great feeling. He had it once and did miss it. Still, life went on and so did the tide. Anyway, sometimes the harsh world needed a nice distraction.
Hula Bob stopped and picked up a stone he then skimmed it on the water. "It is a beautiful night. I think I said that. I haven't been on a date in a long while. Seen em, sure. Not been on one. What about you?"

"I'm a teen. Of course I haven't been in love. Have you?" She smoothly stopped when he did, watching the stone skip across. Niday almost clapped, almost. She doubted she could do that. "And you'll be my first date." The female murmered, a touch embarrassed.

Hula bob thought about that for a moment. "Well, yes. I had a beach bunny once. She was an elder. I also have childeren and so on." He wasn't sure how the teen would take that. "I don't really know what happened to her. Thought the Guardians needed her, but after a year and a half?" He then shook his head. It was the tide and he had to respect it.

Slowly she turned her head to stare at him, dumbfounded. Year and a half? "So...you are...old enough to be my father." Oh yes...Dayht could never...ever...find out about this date. "But I suppose you already knew that. Curious though..." She lightly frowned, golden eyes intent on him. "if you knew all of this, why did you pick my ad out of all the others? I glanced at the front, and saw a variety of other females. Some actual adults." And he picked the logical, cautious, teenager.

"I guess I could be. Though, I wouldn't think of that way. Even those who are old should get more then one chance." Hula Bob shurgged. He thought about her next question. "Well, a few I'm related or slightly related to. And, you just stood out." He wasn't really sure why other then that.

slowly she nodded, it made sense. Even if this could essencially be called 'robbing the craddle.' A corner of nidays mouth twitched, only her self resolve keeping it from becoming a smile. Stood out eh? "I see...big family. I know how you feel."

Hula Bob nodded. "It is a great family, just not when you might want to meet girls. I don't meet many that think of as anything more then either related, almost related or the bar owner." He wasn't taking it hard, but he understood that younger pae would want to meet pae their own age even if some older ones are single too.

She nodded again, frowning lightly. "Would that make me the first girl you've gone out with since your relationship with the elder?" It sounded a bit impersonal, but she didn't really know what else to call her given the information she had recieved.

Hula Bob smiled. "Yep." He then looked downed the beach. "Want to head back for dinner? Or just keep walking?" He wasn' meaning to change the subject, he just felt like he would ruin theirs, if they had one, by talking about how old he was and how much family he had. Hula Bob knew it would be hard for a female to understand and not want someone her age.

"...I suppose dinner wouldn't hurt." Had to give the old man some props...she was actually going to go through phase two of the date. And not run away. Niday guestured with a hand for him to lead on, blinking suddenly to quickly pluck something off of her elbow. Cursed feathers.

"Awesome! It's a very nice Luau stye dinner. I havnen't made it in a while, but I'm sure it will still be good. I am good at what I do. At least that's what I've been told." Hula bob didn't want to sound boastful.
Hula Bob lead her back to the blanket on the beach. On the blanket were to place settings and in the middle was dinner. It was roast pig with the apple in it's mouth, pinapple, bread and coconut freezers to drink.

She lightly chuckled, taking in the meal on the blanket and delicatly sitting down. "And here I was expecting peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches..." A favorite of her brother Tristen, he used to feed them to her and day all the time. "...thank you." Niday softly spoke at last. It really was nice, catching her off gaurd. Though she had to wonder if there was any alcohol in the coconut freezers.
