I'm not sure if I count as one, since the most "Trekkie" thing I have done was to watch TNG with my friends and beer over the course of one academic year. Unless you count joining this forum too. Cause uh, I did do that. 8B
If I do count, it has been about 6 - 7 months.

It's hard to say for me...so I've been around Star Trek even when I was a little kid, but I will say that I wasn't a self-proclaimed Trekkie until maybe before I started high school.

Pretty much my entire life. I am technically a third generation Trekkie. Both my parents are fans, and so was my Grandfather (he watched the original series).
Until Enterprise was cancelled (stupid people, I liked it). There had always been new Star Trek my entire life.

Only about a year for me. My father got my brother and I hooked watching TNG reruns a summer ago.
My mother hates Star Trek though and can’t understand what we see in it, however, it did keep my little brother out of her hair for two hours everyday, so she grudgingly accepted it.

From the womb. Hee. My mom got me into all things scifi. As I type, she's watching Enterprise, which we watch together when we have time.
PS. That's a full 22 years. blaugh

about 3years or so. i'm really grateful to the trek, it helped me forget reality during a very unpleasant chapter of my life i'd always been into sci-fi/fantasy/horror, but never really looked at star trek until then

My dad was a hardcore Trekkie, so I grew up watching The Next Generation. I'm pretty sure Data was my first TV crush. xd
I kind of left Trek behind for a while when my friends decided it "wasn't cool." I picked it up again years later and started to get into The Original Series.
I've been going back and forth my entire life. Just finally settled down and admitted that I couldn't try to hide it anymore. Now I'm proud to be a Trekkie! I wear my Starfleet pin on my purse and I don't care what other people say.

I got hooked on Voyager sometime during middle school, so six or eight years ago. Wow, it's been a while..

15 years here. I got into Trek when I was 7. I was a TNG baby, got into TOS later. Wasn't real big on DS9, but by time Voyager came out I was addicted.
