Taking in the scenery, Isdra grinned. It was the first time she'd ever seen the ocean and it didn't fail to captivate her. The waves, the way the sun hit the water. All of it was so pretty. Walking to the end of the boardwalk, she quickly made herself comfortable staring down into the water from the edge. "So pretty..."

"Me? Nothing really. Taking care of my siblings, working around the house, running siblings to school. Nothing fun. I feel like a freaking house wife. Quite annoying." Sighing loudly, she turned and leaned against the railing. staring at the sky. Life was boring. Mundain. "And you? I'm sure you've been globe trotting with the money your father has."

Halcyon tilted his head, "Not too much...more going to libraries to get books that I couldn't have brought to my father's pent house...A lot of exercising...cleaning...Reading too, lots and lots of reading." he rubbed the back of his neck. "Although thanks to my father I've got access to books most of the world don't even know about, using that to try and find more about your...situation, anything about scroll children like us and trying to find some way to cure you...If possible."

He smiled at her, "But how does this sound...hmm...Where would you like to go in the world? Away from your siblings."

Isdra giggled and looked at him, smiling, "I don't think I've ever met someone so determined. Really, right now I don't care that much. Eventually it gets to me, but I can live with it. It's something I'm going to have to live with, so yeah." Chuckling slightly, she turned around again and stared at the water. It was so calming, which she was glad for right now.

"In reality, probably no where. As much as I complain about them, without my siblings my life would be dull." Laughing again, Isdra sat down, dangling her legs of the edge of the dock. "Though... There's alot of places I want to go in my life, but none right now. I'm fine right now." For a brief moment she looked up again and then grimaced. There were grey clouds floating about now instead of big poofy white ones. "Do you think it's gonna storm?"

Halcyon looked up as he sat down next to Isdra, "Yea, it's planned to storm tonight...nothing bad...no hurricane warnings." he smiled at her and tilted his head, "Well, I was asking 'cause if there was, I'd make sure to take you with me next time I go there..."

He leaned back and looked up at the sky above them, "I'm actually happy I ran into someone I knew, was getting kinda boring and honestly...no one around here was really striking me as interesting. Helps that I'm a book worm and you actually show interest in me beyond my um...suddeny new body."

Briefly stuffening up at the storm warning Halcyon spoke of, her worry became a bit more obvious. But she quickly covered it up. She refused to show her weaknesses if she could help it. "Oh really? It's good that there's no hurricane warnings. That would stink."

Chuckling at his remark, she turned and grinned at him, "Thanks for being so considerate. That's nice of you.... I don't know. Anywhere. I'm not picky, I mean if I was I'd get nowhere." Looking up again, she noticed the sky and quickly diverted her gaze do with the water. Even it had an errie feel to, though she wasn't quite sure how.

"Really? I like people watching. It amuses me. There are so many different people here. Unique and strange. I think it's funny." At the last comment she turned and poke him in the chest. "What are you talking about, I'm only here for the new body." Even with that comment, she quickly waved her hands in the air and pointed out the fact she'd known him before the body. And with this joke, came a loud, frightning crack of thunder and bolt of lightning promptly after. Isdra flew forward and clung to Halcyon, hiding her face in his chest. She practically began to cry with fear. Her body was frozen with fear.

Halcyon held her gently before he stood up and had Isdra in his arms. He shifted her about a bit and smiled down at her, "How about we go inside...maybe back to the hotel?" he said quietly to her, "They have a hot tub...actually...I have access to a private tub if you are interested..." he said quietly. He carried her down the dock and away from the boardwalk as he moved towards the hotel, still with Isdra in his arms.

Tears sprung to her eyes as she head another crack of thunder and clawed his back, trying to get a better hold. "Anywhere. Anywhere but here...!" Everytime a crack of thunder sounded or she got a glimps of lightning, Isdra attempted to hug him tighter. She couldn't think about anything but getting away from her fear.

Halcyon ducked into a building and sighed lightly, with a look outside he looked back to see where they were and began laughing, "Ah...I know this place..." he moved deeper inside. It was a covered alleyway, however it led to a door. He gently set Isdra down on her feet and opened the door before he led her inside and shut the door behind them. The sound of deep bass and live-mixed music drowned out the thunder completely.

They had happened upon the back entrance to a dance club, lights flashed and a few people danced on the dance floor, most were at the tables chatting and gossiping. Halcyon looked at Isdra and smiled at her widely, "Better? If you want to go...I can carry you to the hotel...or where I'm staying."

A quick look about and mentally Isdra decided she wasn't at all comfortable here. "Eh... Not really... But I don't want you to have to cry me." She took another glance and grimaced as the loud beating gave her a headache. Normally she'd be totally up to partying, but her fear had gotten her into a very doment, quiet state.

Halcyon smiled and led her towards the front door and picked Isdra up into his arms before he led her out, now it was raining and Halcyon was basically running down towards the Hotel, the back of the Hotel grounds. It wasn't long before they arrived, the thunder booming above. At the door a man opened it, "Master Halcyon...Ah Injured?" Halcyon shook his head quickly, "Lightning fear." the man nodded as Halcyon ran past with Isdra in his arms. Right there, they were at the famed, Cordain private area. Which he had at many of his hotels.

Halcyon continued to carry Isdra until they were in the main lounge and living area, setting her down on the couch and collapsed down next to her, "Better now?"

The entire run back and conversation before they got to the room was a blur. It was almost impossible for her to recall, even the few times she did try to remember. Calming a bit when she was set on the couch, she was quickly drawn to a blanket that was casually placed on the arm of the couch. With one quick move, Isdra grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her head and around her body, making a large warm cloak from the object. Looking at Halcyin, she nodded and curled up in the corner of the couch.

"Y-you should take a shower and get warm cloths on. You'll get sick otherwise," she muttered quietly, looking at him through her warm fabric shield. Patting her clothing slighty, she realized that she was a bit wet also, but it wasn't a threat unless Halcyon's.

Halcyon smiled at her and shook his head, "Warm rain, I'll be fine don't worry Isdra..." he scooted over and rubs her back, wrapping an arm around her shoulders, "Hmm...We could put on a movie...I could make some popcorn and we could have it up loud enough to drown out any thunder booms that make it inside..."

Isdra nodded and curled up tighter as he spook. "Ok... But warm rain doesn't stay warm." Muttering a bit, she leaned on him as told her about the movie and such. "That would be nice... Can I borrow your phone? I need to call my dad."

Once ahold of the phone she quickly dailed the number for the hotel and asked for their room. "Dad?... Yeah, I'm ok. I meet up with Halcyon and he told me back to his hotel when the storm came.... I don't know. I depends on the storm. You know I don't like going out in them at all... I don't know. I'll call later to give you a heads up... Ok... Love 'ya, too. Tell the others I say 'hi' when you call. Later, bye." Handing the phone back to Halcyon, she explained that her dad had been worried and just wanted to make sure she was ok.

Halcyon nodded his head before he picked up a remote for the TV, as to be expected, it was a top of the line flat plasma, big screen, wide screen. Halcyon looked to Isdra and smiled at her warmly, "I'll be fine Isdra, don't worry...I'm more worried about you right now...what movie would you like to see? Or just a random movie?"

"Anything is pretty much fine... Knowing me during a storm, I won't notice it. Not to be rude or anything. I just zone out..." Even as she spoke she was kind of out of it. Staring at the television, but not noticing it at all. It was a very commen occurence for her. Normally she made sure not to go out of day that have bad forcasts, but she'd been so wrapped up in her vacation she hadn't watched the news.

Snuggling into the side of her blanket, she also managed to weasle her way against Halcyon. Burrowing into things and hiding was a normal thing for her, even without storms. Looking up at Halcyon, she attempted to give him a smile, but it came as more over a fearful cover up.
