Licking her gloved hands carefully she stood up and sniffed the air a little harder
It's not the same, it's a different person and he doesn't smell right. Wait here a moment
Holding out her hand a dagger of ice formed in her hand as she jumped up into the trees, stopping just above the man and watching him for a moment before leaping down in front of him

Kasurugi notices that Ekko smells something on the air.
What is it Ekko?
Just as kasurugi finishes his question, Ekko jumps into the trees.
Wait!!! I'm coming too!!
Kasurugi jumps into the top of the tree above him a sees Ekko jumping on the tops of trees to his right. Kasurugi follows Ekko, and notices that she has stopped and then jumped down to the ground. Kasurugi does the same, landing behind the man he questions him.
You, whats your name are you friend or foe?

((Alright...then I'll respond. And yeah, I planned on stickin' around for at least a little while.)) *I hear a rustle in the leaves above me and stop. Just as I look up, a familiar-looking girl comes parading down out of the trees, landing right in front of me. I look down and catch a glimpse of her ice dagger. I crouch down quickly and ball my fists readily, as claws of ice come springing forth out of the webs of my knuckles.* What do you want?

Ekko smiled and dropped the dagger, letting it dissolve into the air and holding out her gloved hand cautiously to help him up
Didn't mean to startle you, I didn't know if you were a threat or not. Automatic reaction to danger, my apologies
climbing back up into the tree she curled up on a branch and stared down at them, watching them with amusement

The ice-claws dissolve as well as I stretch out my hand invitingly.* My name is Hikari, what is yours? *I glance back behind me and see a figure through me peripheral ((I know that isn't spelled right)) vision.* And what about him? Kasurugi stands there with his arms crossed around his chest.
My names Kasurugi, well I just met Ekko so I guess she's a friend. I noticed that both of you have the same type of power. Interesting.

Interesting indeed, I haven't met anyone with the same ability as me before. I thought I was the only one with such an... amusing power
Dropping to the ground she landed on her feet, her hat flopping to the ground. Half paniced she jumped back up into the branches, flipping her hood up over her head, her pale face glowing red under the shadow over her

*I sigh heavily and look at my new group of friends. Suddenly a loud rumble bellows out from my stomach. Recognizing my body's needs, I reach into my bag and pull out a large chunk of salted rabbits meat and bite into it's flesh hungrily. I glance upward and speak with a mouthful of food.*..Want fumm. smile

Smiling she catches her hat and hops down, scratching her ears as she blushed
Most people don't think too highly of me once they've seen my ears
Pulling off her jacket her tail swished as she sat down and smiled
