"Well...it's no big deal, but if insist," Ari shook her head, smiling none the less. It wasn't as if giving a cooking lesson was really all that hard. Looking back and Osha she told Zack thoughtfully, "You should have him take some serious lessons. He's got a good eye and obviously a lot of talent." She then leaned forward, smiling at both the children. "Alright! Why don't we have a drawing game, mm? How about we all draw the same thing and look at them all together in the end, mm? I'll even join in." She didn't say it was a competition because...she didn't want it to be. Osha loved drawing and so did Ina. No need to put pressure on them when they just wanted to play.
"Oh YES!" Ina agreed, her tail trashing about like a fan behind her. "That sound fun, momma!" She looked at Osha brightly, tugging at her skirt, "You wanna play, you wanna?"

Zack nodded. "I insist." She might think it's a big deal, but she obviously hasn't been living of takeout for the past weeks. Or was it months? Whatever it was, all the local restuarants knew Zack on a first name basis, and they knew what he and Osha wanted. There was hardly a conversation. Zack just called on the way home from where ever he was working and picked up dinner on the way on. Or, on the off chance he attempted to try his hand at preparing a meal, the call would come a little later, from home. And they knew, and they'd tease him.
Hmm. He never thought of that. "That's a good idea..." he mulled. Would Osha like art lessons? He certainly loved to draw and paint. He didn't see why not! Hmm. Maybe he'd give them to the boy as a birthday gift. Excellent.
A drawing game? That certainly caught Osha's attention. Perking right up, the boy leaned forward as though he was hanging off every last word Ari said. He glanced back over at Ina, nodding eagerly. "Yes! How do we play?" he asked, looking back at Ari with eager eyes.
Inwardly, Zack groaned. Drawing. Great.

"I can refer you to a few places later, if you like," Ari told him before turning to let her attention rest soley on the kids. It made her smile to see Osha so excited. She knew Ina was thrilled at the idea but...she could tell it was different for the other toddler. "Well, lets see...we'll all draw the same thing. Something we can all see so it's fair umm...." she looked around, trying to think of something that they could all draw pretty easily...or at least be interested in drawing.
"I know!" Ina said proudly, obviously thinking her idea was brillaint. She pointed a purple finger at Zack, "Draw him! Since he no draw, we draw him." Now that was truely amazing, wasn't it? Yes, she was quite a genius!

"That'd be great," Zack said with a nod, glancing over towards Osha. He grinned, feeling quite pleased with the outcome of the day's outing. So far, he and Osha met up with friends, he was going to learn to cook, he was going to take said friends out for dinner and he was going to have a nice little surprise for the kid. So much productivity made it legal for him to be a lazy oaf for the rest of the day, and that brought nothing but joy to the guardian. He had to go to work tonight, so it was best to store up on energy.
Osha listened closely as Ari explained the rules of the exciting new game. He blinked as Ina suddenly spoke up, glancing over at the new object of their art. ...Zack? The boy scrunched his nose. "Okay." He hadn't wanted to draw Zack yet...but...he supposed it was okay. Nodding, he trotted back to his spot by the roses to pick up his drawing stuff.

Ari leafed through her sketchbook to a free page. Of course Ina had to pick such a difficult subject. Portraits were always tricky, at least compared to things like flowers. But since Osha had no complains, and this game was more for him then anyone else, she decided it was alright. "Ok then, we'll start on the count of three," she said with a smile, "One...two...three."
Ina realized by the count of three that she had no paper. Oops! Osha had given her some last time. She swished her tail impatiently, pointing to her momma. "Momma! Paper!" she said sharply, looking eager to get started. The game had already begun and she wasn't ready!

Zack frowned. He was going to be the model? Well...okay. He supposed it was better than actually have to draw something. Besides, it could be fun to see how the kids drew him. Amused by the thought, Zack reached around his neck and tugged his headphones back over his ears. If he had to sit still for a little while, he needed music. He would die without it, most certainly.
Osha padded back as quickly as he could, sketchbook under one arm, crayons under the other. Not old enough to realize Crayola wasn't the choice of potrait artists everywhere, the redhead settled back down as quickly as he could, starting happily as soon as Ari said go. Wait? Ina had no paper?
Quickly tearing out a page, Osha handed one to his friend before setting back to draw his guardian.

"Thank you~!" Ina chimed happily as she took the paper from Osha. He was so prepared! She flopped down on her tail, gently of course, and set to work like Osha. Except...she was doing her scribbling stick figures while Osha was actually doing something worth while. But she didn't know that. AND she was having fun, so who cared?
Ari took a moment to watch the kids and make sure they were settled before she started her own drawing. Though in reality it was more like a half-hearted sketch. Portaits of people weren't exactly her thing. And besides, this was simply a game for the kids to enjoy. There was really no reason to put herself work in a real sense. Rough sketches were rathrer relaxing.
