sakura1291991 The graphics... ^^ and the fact that the villages you'd enter were the size of the cloud that represented your party... but I understand how the game was advanced for its time so.... ^^ It always made me laugh on the world map. Cloud's a muthaf***in giant!!! "Where's Sephiroth? Tell me or I shall crush your homes with my mighty boot!"

Developing games is a learning process. Hopefully, Square has been taking the elements people like in each game and improving on them, and trying to fix mistakes by the next game. FFVII was an essential part of this learning process. There's never going to be a perfect game. The only thing I would really want to change in FFVII would be to improve graphics and add voices. Basically, redesign the game for the newer systems.

they lose to that guy with the long hair I could never get his name right.
But yeah they lose and everyone dies but not Tifa and shes shows him her boobs and he dies of wanting them sssooooo bad

The graphics. I would say that Aeris didn't die...But that would mess up time itself sweatdrop .

If I had to make any changes, I would probably update the graphics, add in some voice actors, and rework the ending slightly.

Well.. the PC version was practicly a perfect conversion [the graphics were much more polished, more high resolution] but the sound was terrible. If I were to make one improvement of the PC version i'd include the music from the original game, not the crappy midis.
Although if we're talking about a fully fledged remake? I'd change the graphics, sound, find perfect voice actors, and leave the combat system alone, and call it a day. I feel a FFVII remake could be either a big hit or a big failure.

golem98626 only thing i would change is the fact that Aeris had to die. I dont like charactors dying thats why i didnt like real FF II because all the charactors but the main charactors died. Including their Cid. However, a big part of the storyline had to do with Aeris dying...
