Thanks, but if he did a sequel series to Inheritance, it would have to be about Alagaesia in the time of the Riders OR in the distant future about 1,000 years after Inheritance. That would be cool because you would be able to see the impact Eragon and Saphira had on the rest of the future. This is just an opinion. Thank you for your time.

Well, Paolini has already said that Eragon will be leaving Alagaesia forever. Perhaps he will write a new trilogy in which eragon goes to a new world, and changes that world. Or perhaps he will become like Allanon from the Shannarah series.

Kymmo says:
By "leaving Alagaesia", maybe Paolini meant that Eragon would die, thus "leaving Alagesia forever".
"Every action touches on some chord that vibrates for an eternity."

Maybe...
But I think it means that when his quest is over, he will leave Alagaesia forever, taking the last of the Riders along with him.

No, not leave as in die. I mean leave,a s in board a boat and elave the land of Alagaesia. Like the boat in Lord of the Rings. When Frodo leaves.

"Every action touches on some chord that vibrates for an eternity." Why would he die? He is the main character in the series and I have never seen the main character die in battle at the end of a book.

To get on the subject of Durza's magic again for a moment, look at the human language. There are many words for the same meaning so boetk could be another word meaning broad. I'm learning Japanese and there are different words that mean essentially the same thing, all languages have this. And if Paolini decides istalri boetk means broad fire then it means broad fire.

I assume that in order to defeat Galbatorix, he must unlock some kind of forbidden thing. And when it's all over, he must leave Alagaesia forever, in order to repent for the horrible thing he has done.

I just noticed that we have been talking about a alternate series for Eragon for the past, like, 10-15 posts. Weird xd

ArGetLaM - Silver Palm i ask this qestion because i note that in Eragon he says "Boteq Istari"(or something like that) which apparently means "broad fire" but broad fire in the ancient language would be something along the lines of "Aenora Brisingr" does any one know why Durza gets a different magic language to Eragon? No, I did not know that.

True, true. Someone should find Christopher Paolini's e-mail and question him about if he is writing an alternate series.
