*his head tilted forward a bit as the mace hit him. he landed on the ground and stood still. he suddenly burst out laughing and grinned at her*
now what do you call that? i don't even think i should play with you anymore. waste of time really since knowing that there's a true contender waiting.

She was a distance away, but she started to run towards him at a high speed with her mace held in both hands and at her side. Her eyes still shining sliver and the crazed expression still on her face.

*when she got close enough he steped forward and reached his hand out quickly and wraped his fingers around her face. his hands were big enough to grip her head with one hand and he lifted her up. he squeezed tightly and them kneed her in the gut as hard as he could*
seriously. i'm done with you. this is just no fun.

As he held her by the face, she didn't wince in pain. Instead, she raised her hands in the air and the mace spikes glew white. She brought her hands in a downwards stab at the top of his head with great speed and force. If anything, the spiked tipped in light energy would leave a dent. It at least made him let go. Once her feet were on the ground and he was occupied with the head would, she started an offesive onslaught on him with the energized mace. She was moving just as fast as he was in his first attack, if not even faster. The only problem was that unlike her, she doubted he could see the path of his moves like she did.

*he rose his blade up to defect the blows. only this time he was laughing as they fought. she was finnaly putting in effort and this is exactly what he wanted. as soon as the time was right he countered one blow and elbowed her in the face, causeing her to stagger. with that distraction he quickly slashed her down her chest, intending to make a killing move*

The hit to her face hurt, but she didn't focus on it long. She brought her mace up to deflect his downward strike and formed energy daggars inbetween the knuckles of her left hand. Instead of throwing them, she gave a forceful left hook to his face. He would not have time to dodge this considering he was putting his attention and energy into his sword attack which she was blocking.

*he seen the punch coming out of the corner of his eye and quickly used a burst of energy to push her away. he then started firing beams at her as to keep distance*
*after a good while the lightning effect end and he returned to his normal pace. he took a second to catch his breath. he looked around and seen that he had taken out a good number of them but they seem to be increasing. he had no choise but to take out kano fast. he ran towards them as they we're fighting*

She wasn't paying attention to Smash as he was running towards them both. Instead she was using her phasing skill and moving away from the beams, but closer to Kano. Once she was close enough to him, her hand glew white and she grabbed the hand that he was firing the beams with. This was going to hurt her, but she knew it would be returned to him sinse her hand was touching him. The energy she was using seemed to make small sparks and then the energy started to bolt like lightning around her arm. She then started pushing more and more of her light energy into him and infecting him with it. Something like an energy transfer. She could do it as long as she was holding onto him and the aftershocks of the electrical-like beams were snapping back and forth, striking Kano and herself in the face. The only difference was, it was only leaving small scratches on her face, but him it would do serious damage.

*he gritted his teeth and gripped her arm. he she kept this up it could mean the end for him. when he's used his strength to raise his blade to bring it down on her*
*smash was able to reach them in time and blocked his keyblade with his own. he held him back so mari could continue*
*he continued to growl as the pain got worse and in a desperate attemp he released a massive amount of dark energy to blow both smash and mari off of him*

She didn't know if Smash was going to be blown back or not, but she wasn't. She dug her nails into his skin and kept a grip on his arms. The wave of energy passed by her and pretty much did a good bit of damage. She gritted her teeth and took the pain and kept transferring energy into him. Her eyes were flashing silver, and in a split second she went to her demon form and her energy increased. Her eyes were still silver, though, which was strange. It was like she was combining both the powers she got through her bloodlines together at the moment. She had to go to her demon form so she could keep transfering the energy.

*smash wasn't affect by the energy too much but it did stagger him a bit*
*he looked down at mari and glared at her*
you think this will be enough? you haven't even realized why i formed this arm in the first place
*he snapped his fingers and the entire army of nightfiends seemed to dissolve. the energy of every nightfiend transfered into kano's body, causeing him to change. he got bigger and formed claws. his face looked as if he was a demon and his energy was off the charts. with ease, he used his energy to overflow mari's and blow her off his arm*
*smash looked up at him with eyes widened. even with his game face he wasn't sure if even he could beat him now. the energy comming off him was too much to bear at once.*

Mari was tossed backwards and rolled allong the ground. She skidded to a stop and got up to her feet. Her eyes widened as they looked at him and instead of attacking, she focused on healing the wounds that she had so she could continue.

*he shook his head a bit and glared at him. even with the boost he couldn't give up now. there was too much at stake. he screamed as power rose within him and teleported above him, delivering a cruching blow with his keyblade*
*he just grinned as the blade hit him but didn't hurt him at all. he reached up and grabbed him with his massive hands. smash was unable to break free*
why don't you change into that beast form. you would stand a better chance. allow me to help
*he raise his blade and stabbed his chest right where his scar was. he then tossed him to the ground*
*he landed and gripped his chest in pain. he stood up but started to scream as the pain got worse. his body started to change again into the monster like last time*

Her mace disappeared in a flash and her eyes went from silver to yellow as she seen Smash start to transform. She ran over to him and started yelling at the top of her lungs as she was trying to close the distance between them. "No, Matt! Don't! Fight it!"

*the process when underway and soon he turned into the beast again. but he started laughing under his breath. he gripped his keyblade and pointed it towards kano. his voice sounded rough but it was still his own*
no.. not this time. i won't be controlled again. i won't lose what is close to me. but thanks for the energy boost.
*he grinned at him and raised his keyblade as well*
then let's see what you can do.
