Otaku_San OMG OMG OMG I get to see her this summer at anime expo ^_^ I cant wait ^_^ Lucky.... ..... I live on the East Coast, so I won't have a chance to see her (unless she happens to go to AWA *crosses fingers*). Oh well, all I can do is hope....

Here a news update on Maaya's U.S. Album:

Rightstuf.com updated their listing for Geneon's Maaya cd. They now list the title as "Maaya Sakamoto Singles Collection - Hotchpotch CD" and have added an image of the cover. Rightstuf.com usually gets info straight from anime companies, so it looks like Geneon decided to stick with the Japanese title. The US release of Hotchpotch will be almost identical to the original Japanese one. The main difference will be the English translated lyrics and notes in the cd insert booklet.

Oh, one more thing....
Maaya mentioned on her official website in the June update that she is working on a new album.
Hopefully, we'll see it by the end of the year. (^.^)

I like that one too, but my favorite is still "Kaze ga Fuku Hi" off of her Grapefriut album.
The melody in that song was simply wonderful. heart

Well she's not really my style but I have to admit she has a beautiful voice, when I'm on the mood to listen some of her music, it gets me quite calm and serene too..but as I said, only when I'm the mood
Anyway...is GR8 you all like her she's very good

To be honest, it takes me a few listens to really feel her songs. Her voice is pretty no doubt, but her music just takes me a while to adjust to for some reason o_O;
