Wooh! I finally got bangs! This time, it wasn't too short. xd

I had bangs when I was in grade school but my mom made me grow them out. I adopted the antenas (thin long strands framing my face) in middle school and still use them today.
But...
in high school I was obsessed with the movie Amelie and my senior year around January I got an Amelie haircut, a short flip haircut with short bangs. it was really bad! I will never pick out my own haircut again. I just tell them the length I want and let them do their job (I've never been disappointed since).
This is what the bangs looked like during prom that year about 4 months later:

They were half that long originally. I don't really mind them here, they were nice as part of the updo but I like the faded layed bangs more which aren't very loli.

oh i do.. i dont have them nearly as horrid as i used to.

depends on the face shape. personally they looks awsome on me.

I'm one of the few who has them in my school, full bangs anyway-- the other three girls are Asian. XDD

I forgot about you girls with the uber-curly hair! yeah, bangs wouldn't be too good on you, huh? D: it would be uber difficult to keep them straight! you could get a few curls cut short to be like a regency hairstyle...XD

NeverMoreBlue, I never had forehead acne until I got bangs. D: I keep it under control with St. Ives brand apricot scrub though. the forehead acne was worse with my '80s bangs' phase...ugh. like my skin was telling me they were gross! rofl

that picture of you is cute, EGL Goddess. biggrin not too many redheaded lolis out there. and Coldreality, you just gave me a hairstyle idea. biggrin I forgot, I didn't realize I never posted a pic of my bangs:

Haha... After who know how many YEARS of not having bangs *had em as a kid*, I decided to get them cut last summer -- the lady looked at me like I was crazy when I said I wanted them STRAIGHT ACROSS, and not the side-sweep bangs EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER HAS.
She cut em a little too short, but they grew out, and I've been cutting them myself since them -- though since my hair's a pain, I straighten them every morning.

But they've done WONDERS for me. My forehead... oooh, my forehead... my hair just looked BAD, and whenever I'd pull my hair back, it was just UGLY.

That's a thing of the past. *yes, I know, I need an after picture... I'm working on it, but I gotta borrow my ebil sister's camera*

I love loli bangs. They make me feel prettier.

EDIT: I have an after pic~! Though the pic sucks.

I love bangs! Thats why I'm so insanly scared to even consider getting myself a nice pair of loli bangs. They can so easily look horrible.

I'm really insecure about the way i look, everything has to be ABSOLUTELY perfect when I leave school, which is compared to the style some of my friends use.
