L walked over to where Light was sitting. He sat down with his bare feet on the bright colored chair. He appeared to be staring at Light but after a few minutes, it became apparent that he was sleeping with his eyes open.

Raito blinked slowly, looking up from the book he had been reading-Yes, reading. He looked at the sleeping L and stood up, pushing him off the chair and trotting up behind Misa, tickling her and dodging into a closet unseen.

L woke up after being pushed off his chair , stood up, walked to the closet and locked it. Then, he celebrated with some cake. Revenge was sweet with a strawberry on top.

Mikame looked up from his place on the floor, where he had picked up the book that Raito was reading. "L, why did you lock Raito-kun in the closet? That was not nice at all; you should be more just." He said.

Raito scowled upon hearing the two toddlers talking, because he couldn't understand them. He grabbed the doorknob, turning it, only to find the door locked. He slammed his fists against the door, frowning. "Let me out! L! Mikami! Misa!," he shouted in annoyance.

L unlocked the door, letting Light out. "Misa-chan!" L called. "I've found Light-kun! He was hiding in the closet!" L looked around. Where had Misa run off to? And, more importantly, was it time for cake?

Raito scowled. "I hate you, L," he said, glaring at his "friend" as he ran off to the kitchen, coming back with a plate of freshly baked cookies. He sat down in front of the TV, turning on Matlock and nibbling on a cookie as he watched with obvious interest.

Mikami sat next to Raito and watched intently with him. As Raito finished his cookies, Mikami asked, "Would you like some more, G--Raito-kun?"

Raito looked at Mikami. "More cookies? Yes," he said, nodding and turning his attention back to the TV, his eyes wide with interest.

There's a 3.62% chance that those two will grow up to be partners in crime, L thought. Meh, he shrugged and went off in search of cake. Cake was always top priority.
