Misty smacked the ground where the sun hit, and growled at it, not even aware where the sunlight was coming from. Only that that brightness was what Desh didn't like. For a moment, she toddled off to the toy chest and rummaged around. There, she found a round ball, half white and half red. She carefully carried it back to where Desh hid from the sun, and threw it at the floor in front of him.

"Blooah!" she squeeled in baby language. As the ball hit, it opened, and a strange animal popped out. A blue fish-like thing popped out.

"Horsea!" it cried in surprise, face to face with a Pundu it didn't know. "Hor-sea!"

Misty clapped happily and then grabbed it, hugging it tightly.

"Oh boy, she's got her pet out..." Rei's face looked worried. "I'm apaologizing now, because it likes to squirt water."

The horsea, squeezed much too tightly for it's own health, let out a muffled cry and squirted some water strait up into the air.

"Aw cute!" Rei smiled, happy for Mame. "It is an odd creature isn't it?"

The horsea shuddered at the poke of a claw, but Misty giggled and proceeded to poke it as well. Rei feared that the horsea would soak the two babes if they kept poking it, so she told Misty to put it back in it's ball.

"Horsea!" it squeeled, happy to be going away. Misty reluctantly picked up it's pokeball and pointed it at the pokemon. Horsea returned inside, where it could rest far from pointy claws.

Misty looked at Desh, confused as to why he looked funny. She hugged her ball and then crawled over, stretched up, and set it as high up as she could, so that the sun could hit the ball. She thought horsea would like that.

"Well, she thinks it likes the sun..." Rei laughed. She couldn't wait till Misty was old enough to take horsea outside and let it swim in the ocean. "Horsea... is a weird animal. But it's a nice pet."

Misty left the ball, and went to join Desh in the shadows. Her new friend was ammusing, with his fear of light and his long blue hair. Her hair was orange. But she liked the color blue.

"Misty!" she said, pointing to herself. She was learning fast what to respond to, but didn't know what he was called. Rocking back and forth, she waited to hear Desh's name.

"Oh how quickly they learn..." Rei watched the two babies. "What would he do with a pet?" she asked.

Rei shuddered a little when she thought about fangs. She was normally quite scared of animals with fangs, because they were poisonous. "You don't think he'd be that bad with a pet do you?" she asked.

Misty clapped her hands happily and started trying to say his name, "Des. Deswitat. Rubick. Dessssshhhhh...." She trailed off in her failed attempts to say it, frustrated with herself. However, she was quickly distracted by Frankie, who was bringing around bamboo.

Deshwitat, now grown up a little, walks back into the play room. His balance had improved when he grew and no longer did he walk with the ackward steps of an infant. His tan pants and leather jacket made him stick out from all the other baby pundus in the daycare.
He looked around slowly, his eyes peering at the cubs around him trying to find one... The little pundu with the bright orange hair. The only one he had any sort of bond with. It was nighttime now, so most likely she was asleep somewhere in the room.
He knew he couldn't stay at the daycare anymore.. His time had come to move on. But he wanted to see Misty and the little horsea, if for nothing more than to confirm that those horrible things he witness in his visions were not his only life. That he wasn't alone. He flexed a gloved hand rememebering every detail of what happened to that..other Desh.
He looked around for the littleone again, but did not see her...

Misty had fallen asleep quickly after her supper, having few companions to play with. Her only true friend had dissapeared for some time, and she missed him greatly. She wanted to go back to that secret room and see him, but she could not. However, the door was blacked by a baby-safe gate.

Horsea missed him too, often turning to squirt him and finding nothing but shadow. It had gotten much better at hitting its target, and assumed that it could squirt him full in the face if it tried.

Obviousely lonely due to the lack of her best friend, Misty lay in the windowsill, curled up with a sleeping Horsea and a chalkboard. A skribble of Desh and Misty was colored on it. Mostly one large orange blob and one larger dark one. Stars and the night sky decorated the comforter wrapped around her.

Rei, not having to worry about Misty's safety while she slept, wandered off to find Mame. Of course, she knew where the other watcher was, but she couldn't bring herself to leave Misty alone without somebody to play with.

"Mame?" she asked as she passed through the daycare nursery door.
