I hardly comment on poetry for reasons other than giving them constructive criticism.
Oh my word.
I rarely give compliments.
But you, my dear, deserve more than just the words I'm typing.
From one writer to another, thank you for speaking your mind and sharing your heart.
I absolutely loved it.

I rarely give compliments.
But you, my dear, deserve more than just the words I'm typing.
From one writer to another, thank you for speaking your mind and sharing your heart.
I absolutely loved it.
I really don't write anymore and it almost seems unfair to bring this back to the forefront, like I'm cheating by bringing up something I did in the past instead of giving new, better product. But I just don't have it in me anymore (or it's hiding and hasn't felt the need to come out).
However, while it feels like cheating or fishing for compliments, I am really proud of this one. biggrin
Will you be sharing some of your writings in the future?

Oh, I don't work there anymore. Got laid off for the last time recently. I worked at a newspaper (not writing) for over 7 years.
