Feejhu spotted the pretty green girl and squealed, running over to hug her. "Green!" she said happily, hugging the older girl.

Aysel took a step back, not expecting to be mobbed by the younger green girl. "Yup... Green. You're lucky. I was not green for a while and it was horrible," the luna moth shuddered remember her cacooned days. Vain? Certainly not.
Tara nodded at Rouge, "I guess its a yes. We'll take a look at them."
Korin continued to cling to Tara and Pala refused to take his eyes off the other dragon.

Sadly for Pala, the baby dragon had taken a liking to him and did what she did to her daddy-climbed up and wrapped around his neck to ride along with him. Being a baby it was just like putting on a scarf for Pala. But still it was odd.
Rouge led the the woman and children down the hallway to the parklike area. A large white wolf was running around inside. He was about as big as Tara and seemed perfectly tame-considering he walked right over and sat down before them waiting for instructions.
"We'd like to see the pups if you wouldn't mind showing htem." Rouge told the wolf politely. He nodded and led them to an encloser. A smaller female of his kind lay on the ground with a TON of small fuzzy pups running around her. Some were bigger and a little older and some were so small they could have been born only a few weeks ago. They were all drinking from bowls though so they had to have already been weened

Pala shook his head, trying to dislodge the dragon without hurting it. It..wouldn't.. get.. off! "Awww," Aysel cooed. "You're so cute Pala!" The girl giggled, humor restored by her dragon's embarrsment. Poor Apala...
Tara followed Rouge down the ship, watching to make sure no one sneaked off. Bowing to the wolf Tara gestured Korin forward, though the boy seemed suddenly frozen.
Korin kept close to Tara, freezing wide-eyed at the huge wolf. It was bigger than he was. Big...

The baby made a sound that was like a dragon saying "Whee!" and hung on. This was mainly a game to her.
The wolf sat back behind his mate and nodded to the pups. One of the tinier babies, a very fuzzy little one, went forward to lick at Korin's hand.

Apala shook his head harder, as hard as he dared to without hurting the girl. Aysel just giggled that much harder, before catching up to Apala. "Hold still," she said, reaching for the baby dragon. "C'mere," the luna moth said gently.
The boy jumped as a pup licked at his hands. "Mommy..." he whined, clenching at his mom's skirt.
Tara knelt down next to Korin, biting back the impatience that rose up. "This one's cute," she said softly, tugging Korin's hand to it. The mage reached out and gently began to scratch behind the pup's ears with one hand. With the other she guided Korin to start petting the fang. A sudden inspiration hit Tara. "Dia would you like to see the pup as well?" Maybe if Korin saw one of the other kids his age being fearless....
Slowly he began to pet it though the other hand was still clenched in his mom's skirt. He glanced over at Dia and Feejhu, watching to see what they did.

Diyaka smiled and nodded, walking over to play with the puppies. They were so cute!
Feejhu meanwhile walked up to the large male wolf and hugged him. She lived there so she knew the two were harmless.
The baby dragon let go of Apala's neck and slithered up to snuggle up to Aysel. Nice lady!

As quickly as the cute thing came to her, the luna moth began cuddling it. What girl didn't like cute little animals? Scratching behind the hatchling's ears (or somewhere in that vicinity) Aysel cooed.
Pala growled, thrusting his head at Aysel. He'd rather have the thing on him than having it cuddling up to his Aysel.
"Pala," the luna moth scolded before using her lowers to scratch him as well.
Honestly. Tara kept coaxing Korin forward to the puppies. Finally, with both Dia and Feejhu joining in, the godlet let go of his mommy. Straightening up, she glanced aside, muttering half to Rouge half to herself, "I don't know where this sudden shyness came from. He's never really been shy of others."
Korin bit his lip as his mother's comment, guilt stabbing through him. Other than that he gave no sign of listening to the adults moving towards the mass of puppies, though he gave the adults a wide berth.

"Ya know, Tan Pan said something about their being recordings of the children's growths that no one seems to have taken. Maybe that was what caused Korin to act funny and if we watched that we'd find out why?"

Rouge picked up the PDA type thing, playing a scene. It was of Korin crawling out of his room and sneaking into Tara's workroom a toddler. Then the door seemed to open from the viewpoint they were looking from and quite suddenly Aysel was standing there and Tara was yelling(you could tell by the subtitles as it was muted)

Storm clouds drifted across the woman's face, followed closely by a deep red flush. How- she... Shards. Covering her mouth the woman stifled her first instinct to snap out at Korin. This was not the place to deal with family problems, no matter how nice the crew of the ship was.
"Korin, it's time to go home. We'll come pick out a pup later. Aysel, please get ready to go." When in doubt, take refuge in formality.
"Rouge, I thank you for your help and hospitality but we must be going," Tara bowed slightly to Rouge, her upset flush still there.
Korin glanced up, startled. But... "Okay.." he replied quietly.
A glance at her mother, note of the foreboding look and Aysel was about to insist they stay here. But wiser heads, Pala, prevailed. A nudge from her dragon had the luna moth reconsidering that course of action. She did not want her sentence to become any longer than it was. Setting the dragonling down, Aysel nodded, "Ready."

Rouge smiled and nodded. "Of course. We'll send you home right away."
Unluckily for Apala, when they were teleporting home, Neina-who had become QUITE attached to him and his partner-tagged along, clinging to his tail for dear life as the transporter sent them back to the house. When they DID get there, she scurried for her life under the couch to hide.
