By the same logic though, it could be the next Hitler that gets aborted.

Exactly... Logic like that doesn't work because the other is true. What is true either way is that every single child killed is a chance, a chance at someone amazing or horrible or average, or merely someone who brightens the day of others, or sticks to themselves. Abortion destroys that potential person, who they could be, good or bad. And that is a true tragedy.

List all the characteristics a fetus and a born human would have. Intellegence, awareness, concious and anything personality wise is invalid. People who are comatose, mentally challenged and some other illness impair those abilities. Perhaps the one thing they can't deny you is the 46 chromosomes. Look up information regarding genetics in what gene causes what characteristics.

I gave up. No matter what the issues is I believe its wrong and find it too emotional for me to even go into the debate any more. But in a way I feel guilty about not standing up for what I believe.

nuwa I gave up. No matter what the issues is I believe its wrong and find it too emotional for me to even go into the debate any more. But in a way I feel guilty about not standing up for what I believe. I wouldn't feel bad about not arguing with people who don't even understand basic biology. wink

Zin, you're just going to have to accept the fact that feti can be both parasites and tiny cudduwy personnhood-filled babies, depending on the outlook of the mother, and also that oranges are vegetables.

Of course they're vegetables! Oh, I've been so brainwashed by the fundamentalist patriarchy! gonk
