The striped lioness sighed deeply, her form shaking as she let it out. Crying wouldn't solve the problem, but it was all she wanted to do at the moment. Blinking back more tears, her eyes glanced up at Kizuka for one moment before darting back to the ground. she felt shameful, and aweful for hiding what had happened, but now that she....she was pregnate, it was something that couldn't be forgotten. Ever.

"Well, I...I guess to start things off," she said quietly, slowly. "I'm not really a mortal. I'm actually a God, just trying to hide from the world. From this incident." She didn't feel the need to 'show' her wings, though, and would only bother if Kizuka asked her to, as proof. "My true name is Mo'onasi, and....ironically, I'm the Goddess of Love." She coughed, embarassed. "Though obviously not a very good one at that."

She pawed at her cheecks, trying to hide the redness that grew in them. Giving off a strained laugh, she continued, pausing constantly. "Well, I had become friends with another, kind god, K'Anatak. Umm....I could kind of tell he fancied me, but....I couldn't really return the feelings. It had been a time since I last met him, as I really like mortals and try to meet as many as I can. Then, another god came across me, said some strange things to me, and knocked me out." She shivered, though no tears flowed out of her eyes.

"All I knew was his domain. Chaos. I don't....know anything else. But...now I think I might know more, I guess."

Somehow the confession of immortality wasn't all that strange any longer--not after meeting as many Gods and Goddesses as she had. Momo had already gained her trust so much that Kizuka never once thought to ask for proof, but simply accepted the confession as a fact. After all, her own mate was a God himself, and were Momo lying he would surely know, anyway. This wasn't the object of her story, after all, but more of a sidetrack to it. In the end, it was the point of the story that riled her.

She'd almost seen it coming, actually--it was written all over Momo's language and gestures that it wasn't a pleasant memory. Really, it wasn't a memory at all, which was both a good thing and a horrible one. Kizuka knew in a moment what it was like to see red, and her faith in Gods wavered like a reed in the wind. Swallowing a growl, the female pressed closer to her companion and laid her head over Momo's neck as the closest thing they could reasonably get to a hug. She knew her anger was obvious, but it wasn't adressed to the female beside her.

For a long time, Kizuka wasn't certain what to say. How does one begin to comfort for such a thing? The added problem of why they knew for certain what had been done was more of a heart breaker. Eventually, she had to speak, however, "... Chaos will never touch this land, Momo. You're safe here." It was a lame, but it was something at least.

With the comforting touch of the brown and white lioness, the only thing left in Momo's heart was to cry. Crying certainly hurt her, but she hoped that it would open up the wound enough to finally let it heal. Hiding from what had happened was working okay, but now that it seemed certain she was carrying children, she knew that she would have to get over it. It would not be the fault of what was born of what happened, but of the male that had done that to her.

The sooner she was able to heal, to patch up the little hole in her heart, the sooner she would be able to welcome in the warmth that she had seen children display. She was scared, so scared, but the comforting feeling she recieved from Kizuka was enough to give her heart a little reassurance to keep going. She had helped her so much now, and she knew that she would keep helping her.

The tears continued to fall, enough to make Momo's head hurt. She sniffled a bit, wanting to say something, but her head throbbed enough that she gave in, and laid her head down, near the chest of her friend. Her sobs slowed, as well as her breathing. It was a bit evident that she had escaped this moment by falling asleep, though she might not stay asleep for long. And no matter how often her dreams would take her away, the harsh reality would soon be there, waiting for her when she awoke.
