He gave her a crooked grin as she seemed to understand him. That was always nice to have someone you could trust and talk to. "Yeah, I guess you really can't help what you inherit. And I guess I am not all pink, I do have some yellow," he said lifting a yellow hoof and shaking it in the air "and I don't think I am pink inside, but I can't tell with that since I can't look in there." he finished with a chuckle.
Atleast she didn't really care about his color. He wasn't too sure why he did, but it had always bothered him. She was the first to not draw attention to him being pink. He blushed slightly as she commented his curls. "Thanks, atleast someone like them." he said and nipped playfully at her mane. "Your's looks nice as well."
"We are siblings and so I guess it is okay to rant about our problems to each other." he nodded in thought and then caught how she had problems of her own. he hoped that they weren't too bad. He didn't like to see anyone hurt in anyway, just like his father. "I hope your problems aren't that bad."

Azariel nodded, grinning, "Yeah. See? You're not all pink, so it's not nearly as bad." She shrugged and nodded, "Personally? I'd rather not try to take a look inside there," She laughed and tossed her mane again, proceeding to tangle it more and cover her face. "....I swear, if this white hair doesn't get cut soon, I'm going to explode..." She growled, blowing a bit out of her face.
Glancing up at him, she tilted her head to the side, which wasn't exactly a smart move, as her vision was once again blocked by her mane. Growling again, she shook her head violently...which did not help at all. This new predicament overshadowed her previous thought, that Rhas had loooked a bit redder on his face then before. "It may look nice, Rhas..." She grumbled, "But it's horrible to do anything with." She snapped at a few stands angrily, wanting them gone.
She sighed and let it go, allowing herself to be vitrually blind...for the moment at least. "My problems?" She repeated at last and sighed, shrugging, "They aren't that bad, it's just hard to deal with the fact I'm not a child anymore and I have responsibilities. To put it more eloquently, it's horrid."She laughed softly, "But I shouldn't be complaining, huh? It's not like something I can change."

He really did like her long mane and tail and really didn't want to see her get it cut off. "Maybe if you had your indian just braided it so it wouldn't be in the way, then you wouldn't have to cut it." he said thoughtfully, thinking that braids would look nice and yet she could still have her long hair.
He was still pretty wet and shook to get the rest of the water off of him. He had managed to get his tail untangled him his hind-end and his mane out of his eyes somewhat. Now that it was wet, it was too heavy for the wind to blow about.
"I know what you mean aobut growing up. But everyone has to do so one day or another. I kinda like being grown. I am just as big, if not bigger, than everyone else and can stick up for myself now." He said and puffed out his chest some. He really did like being older, even if he had turned a bit uglier. Atleast if someone tried to push him around he could push right back.

She shook her head, "But that wouldn't solve much," She pointed out, snorting, "What if the braids come undone?" No, braiding her hair wouldn't solve the problem, it might make things worse. She nipped at her hair again, "Stupid thing," She mumbled, "Tangles, gets caught, makes me look prissy," She spat out the last word. No, she hated this hairstyle, for more reasons then just the fact it would never function with her life. She had the same style as her mother. It wasn't obvious to anyone, her father barely revealed any sign of it, but she could see, just as her siblings, that though he loved themdearly, the pain of seeing his mate in each of them hurt him quite a bit.
She jolted a bit as water splattered lightly onto her, "Watch it!" She laughed, the actions ripping her from her inner thoughts. She paused and looked at him sternly, "...I suppose you would like it, wouldn't you?" She murmured softly to herself, "You're a big strong stallion now, and you have every right to feel more poweful and stronger then another," She shook her head, smiling softly, "Please forgive me if the fact that I became something I did not want interferes with your views, it's just something I deal with on my own."

He shurgged his shoulders not really wanting to argue with his sister. "I am sure if they were done tight enough they wouldn't come out. But I have never had my hair braided and so wouldn't know. And I don't think it makes you look, prissy. That depends on your attitude." he said with a chuckle and a wink. He really did like her hair and just like she got him to accept being pink he would try and make her feel better about her hair.
But he went on to change the subject. They had other things to talk about other than hair, he was sure of that. Plus, it was kinda boring him, but he was a stallion after all and those matters don't concern them much. "Everyone deals with growing up differently. It is just how one looks at things that makes then what they are." he said sounding very grown up from what he had been as a foal. He had leanred a lot from growing up and not just from his father but also his grandfather, who was a very proud stallion.

Azariel looked up at him through her long hair and laughed softly, "Ah, Rhas, you sound so grown up!" She teased lightly, grinning. She shook her head, a bit and looked at him again. Really looked at him.
"Hey..." She began, eyes widening slightly, "Did you know you're huge?" She shook her head, grinning, "I mean you're tall, really tall." She stomped a hoof, "Not fair," She pouted, "You're even bigger then me." He wasn't taller then her by an amazing amount, but it was significant enough for her to notice. After all, when the last time you saw someone was when they were almost the same size as you and now they're suddenly larger, well, it would be a bit of a shock to anyone.
She backed up a bit and trotted around him, inspecting. "Ah, you have more muscle too, don't ya?" She teased, grinning and nosing a shoulder, "Ah, you must be sought after by many a mare," She tilted her head to the side, eyes shining, "Or at least once you make yourself known." She laughed again and halted in front of him, looking at him curiously.

Rhapsody blushed at her poking and prodding at his size. He really was big and a lot more muscular. He had to hand it to his father, which was were he got his height from and his grandfather before him. "Thanks. I got that from my father and grandfather. They are both rather large as well. As for the muscles," he said and flexed a bit showing off, "I got them from running everyday and playing a lot of tag when I was little." he said with a grin.
He had played tag with his father all the time and every foal he had met when he was little played the game with him as well. Plus he was constantly roaming about that he barely was ever still, though he mostly roamed at night. It was the best time to run as well since it was always cool and not too hot then. "But you know, your not all that shorter than I am. Only a couple of inches or so." he said and playfull poked at her shoulder as well.
"And you are pretty muscular yourself for a mare. And as far as me being sought after by the mares, I haven't really run into any besides yourself and so I wouldn't know what they would think of me to tell you the truth. I am kinda afraid of them for the most part." he said and gave a nervous chuckle. He knew he was silly for being afriad of them but it was mainly the other stallions that he was afriad of that would be around the other mares.

Azariel grinned up at him, "Right, right, genetics again, eh?" She shook her head, laughing a bit, "Ah, so the young stallion works out, huh?" She laughed again, "I'm glad to hear you haven't let yourself go at all." She flicked her tail again, and sighed, feeling the tangles as the smacked against her legs.
She laughed and shook her head, "I suppose, but you're still taller, though I shouldn't be shocked at all, should I?" She grinned at him and shook her head again. Her ears flicked forward and she looked at him again, a bit surprised, "Hm? Muscular?" She chuckled, "I would hope so, as I hardly act like a mare myself." She snorted, as if she would do something as pointless as that. Looking for love or fawning over some pretty stallion, she'd rather be off exploring or running or at least doing something other then those pointless female activities. Honestly, how did other mares do such things?
She tossed those thoughts aside in favor of her brother's comments. "ah! Why would a fine boy like yourself be afraid?" She asked, raising an eyebrow archly, "There should be mares falling over themselves to get at you," She tilted her head to the side, "Though, as your sister, I must say that I would be inspecting each and every last one of them for their compatibility to you." She added, holding her head high."

He gave a laugh at the thought of letting himself go and imagined himself as a chubby and fat stallion. The image was rather humorous and he couldn't help but laugh even more. "Now there is a thought. Me being fat! If only you could see the image that I see in my mind." he said still chuckling as another picture came to mind of his own father being a chubby stallion too.
He finally gained back his composure and calmed down from his slight laughing fit, coming back to the topic at hand. "Well it is good that you don't act like the other mares since it is good to be unique and yourself. Though I don't really know how other mares act since I only know three; you, my grandmother and my Aunt Ever. So two of the three are very independent and the other is very polite and strict on manners." he said remember the many time his grand mother had chided him for running off and the first time he met his Aunt.
"As for being afraid, I am not really too afraid of them other than when ever there is a mare, I am sure you will also find a couple stallions around trying to gain her attention. I am not too sure if I want to go through all that hassle just to meet some pretty mare." He said being truthful. He wasn't going to hide is fears from her since she was supposed to be his sister and all. Plus she most likely would find out on her own anyway, so why not tell her now.

Azariel shook her head, grinning, "Pardon me if I don't follow your train of thoughts, brother," She replied gently, "I'd rather imagine the beautiful things in life, rather then the not-so-beautiful, thank you." She chuckled and shook her head again. What did it matter if she was vain toward others on the outside? She personally couldn't stand another creature that "Let themselves go" for no reason. Shouldn't life itself be a reason? Shouldn't you be fit for your life and not just for attraction?
She shook her head, sighing, "Rhas, we have to get you out more!" She exclaimed, grinning up at him, "If you only have family to compare to, what's the point? You need friends! More friends then just myself and your family!" She shook her head and mentally began planning adventures for the both of them, so both of them could go out and meet more people, to not meet others would make life unbearably boring.
Azariel raised an eyebrow at him and pointedly looked to each side of her, even going so far as to turn around, inpecting the area. "Hmm..." She rumbled, amusement clear in her every movement, "I don't have stallions fawning over me, do I? Are they some place I simply cannot see?" She asked, tilting her head to the side at him. She understood his fear and acknowledged it...but the fact that he seemed to think there were numerous enough stallions for one or more to hang around every mare at any given time was just....well, a bit irrational.

"It's because I am here that no other ones are here." he said with great confidence. He knew that he was being a bit irrational but didn't care much. He was having fun talkingnwith his friend and sibling that he had not seen in quite sometime. "Besides, why do I need more friends? I have you and that is good enough for me. Too many makes things complicated."

Azariel looked up at him, eyes quite clearly revealing their disbelief of the entire situation, "First off, Rhas," She began, shaking her head, "I haven't seen anyone except family for ages." She replied, looking at him sternly, "Honestly, Rhas!" She laughed, do you even think stallions would be interested in me?" She glanced at her self briefly, before returning her attention to her friend.
"I am rather plain for a mare, you know." She added offhandedly, "So why would a stallion be interested in me?" She laughed softly, "Besides, what potential would even like my attitude." She shook her head, "Nope, nope, It's defiantly not because of you that I don't have stallions fawing over me." She looked up at him through snow white hair, "So don't ever think that, okay?"
She snorted, "Everyone needs friends, if for nothing more then the connection to someone else." She chuffed softly, "You watch, Rhas! I'll make sure you get some friends!" She grinned up at him, "Whether or not you know it!" She stomped a hoof to emphasize her statement, she wasn't about to let Rhas become a hermit.

"You plain?! I don't think so at all! Your the most colorful mare I have met. If not your coat then from your personality. I am sure that not every stallion wants some submissive and shy mare. Take my aunt for example. She is very independant and yet was able to find a stallion that went head over hooves for her." he said trying to boost Az's self image up. He certainly wouldn't want some shy mare for a partner, that was for sure. He thought it annoying and a bit boring to have someone willing to follow you around, playing shy and scared and wanting to be protected all the time.
"And how do you purpose finding me more friends? Are you going to drag me through the viliage and introduce me to everyone that walks by?" he said with a mocking laugh as another image floated into his mind. For some reason today he was having a very active imagination.

Azariel paused, mouth a bit open to reveal her surprise at her friend's sudden stance on her statements. She was silent for a few moments, unsure about this sudden heat that rose in her cheeks. Ah...?! She shook the feeling away, it was....a strange and useless one for the moment.
She grinned up at him, aquamarine eyes sparkling, "Oh! That's a good idea, isn't it?" She retorted, long tail flicking once, "I could do that, and then you wouldn't be able to complain if I did so, because then you would meet others and that little thought of you being laughed at would just..." She shrugged helplessly, though clearly still smiling, "Would just have to go away."

"Oh really? Is it that simple now?" he said with a mischievious grin before puffing out his chest. "Remember dear sister, I am bigger than you and not os easily pushed around anymore. Like when you pushed me in the creek when we were little." he said laughing remembering that day. Sure had had almost cried but that didn't make the memory bad.
