(( xD heheh she really is cornering him and he can hardly come up with a come back))
well it seemed she proven she was serious as she still pressed the matter and again cornering him. when she got closer, he saw that as a bold move on her part. " and yet again you back me into a corner and being forced to say yes or no." he shok his head and moved forward to close the gap between them. " never once have the thought of having foals come to mind. and i have never thought i should even bother adding to the population even if my foals would not be like the fools that seem so dominate around here. your going to have to convince me better as i feel having foals would only cause me a weakness to be explotied if someone where to find out." always blunt and straight forward he stayed where he was and waited for her to answer.

Once again, Ladius' eyebrow arched and she gave Entreri a skeptical look. "You don't have to be active, you know. If you never came by or did anything, I wouldn't hold it against you, as this is my idea. You would be doing a service in that sense, not doing something to worry about later. And you don't seriously expect me to be so stupid as to just let someone waltz into my territory and threaten my kids, do you? You sound like an old nag, Entreri."
And he did. First he wanted to have contact, then he didn't want to have to worry about them? More changable than a weather vane in a windstorm, that's what he was. Obviously she had to spell it out in the most basic of terms.
"You do not need to 'parent', you know. I am more than capable of managing myself an a couple offspring. This is my brainchild, my concept for which I take full responsibility. You, to my knowledge, are the most suitable stallion to father such foals as I would like to have, and all I am asking is for you to do that fathering. Otherwise, you'd be free to do as you like."

Entreri now had a raised brow and shook his head. " i understand what you say and pretty much you just want me to sire foals with you for your own plan to raise a brainchild as you so put it." moving away now to get space, he mused a moment over what he should say and shrugged. " and as you say there is nothign for me to lose or gain. and i may sound like a nag to you but thats most likey because im over thinking this whole situation but i think of all possablities that could happen." ruffling his wings, there really was no reason for him to say no to this proposition Ladius just threw at him but he was still iffy about the whole thing. " but you backing me into such a corner i have to say yes or no now don't i? since really theres no argument i could even think of to get out of the corner you put me in." always the thinker, always calm, and always carefully choose his moves.

As an answer to Entreri's words, Ladius at first only shrugged. "I never said there woulnd't be anything to gain, merely nothing to lose. And if you feel backed into a corner, perhaps that's because you understand the validity of the arguement."
In a way, it was kind of strange; one might not suspect Ladius of being the type to randmly decide to commit parenthood. However, this wasn't random; it was the logical response to a trigger. Entreri had merely provided a solution to an unspoken question.
Tossing back her now-drying braids, Ladius waslked past Entreri, glancing downstream the way she'd come. "We should be used to black and white choices, Entreri. Isn't that the way it's always been for a fighter? There is either action or lack thereof...never any indecision. Or rather, no indecion if you want to survive."
An interesting analogy, and not likely one to hear from other 'prospective parents.' But then, as Ladius saw it, there were never any maybes, only definitive answers.

Entreri listened to her and watched her walk by him. she definaly had a good argument and one he really couldn't come up with a a reason to say no. of course Entreri wasn't one to ever want to commit to parenthood or anythign he saw as a risk to being weakened. but in the way she put it, he wouldn't have to lift a hoof except to sire the foals but everything else she would do. " ah yes a fighter always has black and white choices to make when dealing with any fight. any lack of action could get one killed in a fight specialy if one hesitates. but we are not discussing fighting but something completely different but the choices are still black and white." flexing his wings, then watched the water from where he stood. " if you can prove to me that you are worthy of having foals with me then i will agree but if not well then this discussion if over." this was the only way he could even start to turn the tables even just a little. depending on her nextmove would depend if he would really agree or not to this very very unusual proposition.

A challenge, huh?
Well, she could live with that. Tilting her head so that she was glancing back over her shoulder at the stallion, a slow, smug smile crossed her lips. "Worthy, eh? You want worthy, we'll see who's worthy."
Pivoting, Ladius swung around so that she was facing Entreri, her legs shifting into a more catlike and responive stance. "Bring it, Entreri."
What better way to decide anything than with a fight?

Entreri flared out his wings to stretch them then closed them nicly to his side. keeping a careful eye on her, it seemed she wasn't going to back down from his challenge. leting a smirk come across his lips, he then started to circle her dispite the water being so near them. it appeared he was relaxed as he slowly circled but he was more than ready to attack. " lets see what you can do." was all he said as he waited for her to lanch the first attack, but if she didn't he would soon enough.

Flicking an ear slightly, Ladius for the most part remained as she was, aside from a slight tensing of her muscles. However, as Entreri started to circle, she began to pivot slightly, keeping the stallion within her line of sight. Her dark eyes narrowed slightly, she took note of the way Entreri moved, noting everything from the shift of his shoulders to the way he stood on his hooves. For a few moments there was stillness...
Then she went for it, whirling about and lashing out with a kick from her hind legs.

Entreri contiuned his movement of circling while watching and waiting for her next move to come. for a while there was nothign but stillness and then she suddenly took the first bold move. wings flared as he reared adn backed up to avoid the swift lashing out of her back legs. it was a narrow miss and almost had his chest and shoulder clipped by the dangerous kick. a dark smirk came to his face when he finaly got back to soild footing. if she was quick she wouldn't give him a chance to make a move even though he quickly got hismelf on soild ground after dodging.

As Entreri reared back, Ladius' face creased slightly in a smug smile; she had seriously doubted her first attack would be landed, but rearing as a dodge simply left one open for more. Consequently, the second she realized she's missed she was whirling around, lashing out with her forelegs at where she judged his chest to end up...

(( alrighyt, i just really hate having left you waiting so long for a reply from me x_x;; i usualy on top of RPs ))
yes it left him quiet ope indeed and because her first attact left him no choice he had been forced to make a move that left him open. he hardly had time to even react as she came again at him the secend she had realized she missed. again he was forced to back up and rear to attempt to back up fast enough with wings smacking at her to distract her as her quick second attack had him on his hoofs. baring teeth, he realized his movement to back away had been to slow and he got his chest smacked by one of her hoofs as he still slapped st her with his wings to force her back from him. if he couldn't get her to back and cornter, he would be in some trouble but he was caculating a plan in his maind as he fought to force her back.

The blow from Entreri's wing was solid, but she'd dealt with worse. Besides, her smaller size seemed to be working to her advantage, as Entreri's height meant that he was hitting her too high to knock her off balance and she had the perfect chance to strike...which she did.
Ducking her head, she lunged forward as he reared, throwing the full force of her lunge into one calculated headbutt to the stallion's underside. Chest or stomach, connection in either place would likely be a serious hit.

there was nothing he could do as she knocked him clear off blance from the headbutt to the underside. oh well the only thing he though to do was atlest try and hit a mark with his front hoofs as he went backwards. folding his wings as he went down, it he didnt he might just break a wing if landed on one wrong. once he smacked the ground on his back, he didnt stop and just lay there blinking at what just happened. oh no he didnt let the shock of the blow of smacking into the ground slow him much as he went rolling onto his legas and as fast as he could get on them. not even slowign down he threw out a kick with his back legs not even aiming just mearly giving himself time. after the kick he wirled around head lowered slightly with horn ready to hit a target though he had no intention of actualy hiting her with it.

One flailing hoof caught Ladius in the shoulder as Entreri went down; she could already tell that was going to bruise, but worrying about trivial matters like that IN a fight was only going to leave you worse off.
And she was ready as he came back to his feet, her own head lowered and ready to lunge again.
However, she didn't feel like getting impaled at the same time, and, eyeing her horn, she thought that might be a distinct possibility. Best to see how things currently sat.
"So, you convinced yet? Or do we need to rip a few limbs off, first?"

" Depends which you prefure Ladius." Entreri slowly relaxed and lifted his head while tossing his mane. even though they where through he only appared relax, he was always on his guard. " but i suppose there no need to drag on fighting more when what was needed is now done." flexing his wings and ruffling them to smooth them out, he gave a light snort. now that they where done with the fight it was more than clear that she was dead serious though he hardly had any doubt she had been.
