"Yes. I've met one, of Pride. Besides my travel companion, the first lion I met, it was such a relief...being pridals, you can't imagine how horrible it is to be the only lion in miles and miles." Asherah considered this after she said it. Or perhaps their positions would be reversed? Maybe pride lions sometimes felt too overcrowded and wished for that sort of privacy, to be alone sometimes...

The grass is always greener, as they say.

(And yet another sorry, RL has been insane lately)

"Well you too seem to be having a bit of fun, I'm going to go check up on someone," Daemon said, making eye contact with Inari. Someone was Ruffian, but he didn't want to say that outright, wouldn't be right on his apart. With a flick of his tail and a slight bow, he was on his way. White disappearing into the green of it all.

Inari waited until Daemon was a bit off, and he laughed to himself, "He's so uptight, he got here not long ago, traveled here with someone, traveling must be fun, has to be, especially if you with someone."

Wait, had he said that before, he ran his paw over his mane slightly and make a goofy grin.

He had to remember things better.

(its alright , finals approaching for me <3)

"Travelling can be fun but I'm hoping to find a home, my family..." She gestured vaguely with a paw, trailing off. Ash was puzzled as to why he'd ask about immortals specially. Half teh lions she met didn't believe in them or had never met one.

"Do you have any gods around here?"
PostPosted: Fri May 18, 2007 7:16 pm

"Gods?" Inari then didn't say a word, he watched her carefully. Was she on a search for immortals or somehting? He better not mention his god friend then, no, War would not like that, not at all. Least from what Inari could believe in his thoughts. "I don't know if any reside here, if they do, they are under an illusion, though I wouldn't be surprised if some have passed through here before," he said with a nod.

Yes, one or two had to pass through here once in a while, besides War of course.

(Sorry it took so long >< <3)

"Ah, alright then." She shrugged. Confusing male. Or maybe she could no longer read others as well as she used to...no matter. He was offering information if she asked sweetly enough.

"Also, do any of these names seem familular? Rahima, Ewansiha, Nogea, Ithibati, Denge, Nyunya, Fedha or Dharba. They'd be adults or elders, with red, grey, white or black fur. My family...~"

Inari watched her intently, why was she so interested in the immortals. Hmm, it intrigued him, but he said nothing about it. He swayed his tail, the grass blades touching his fur, golden eyes still set on her. Inari listened to her give names in a sequence, listened, but none seemed familiar, none of them at all. Unless of course, his memory was fading from him, but no, he was way too young for that to happen already.

"I'm sorry Asherah, but none of those names seem familiar to me, though I will keep an eye out for them if you like," he said with a nod. Least he could offer that assistance.

"Thankyou. I'd be forever in your debt." She broke out into a full smile, her mood swinging to elation - lucky since it could have turned to complete dispair. So her family hadn't been here...but Inari'd keep a look out for her when she left. Sweetheart. Such an offer of assistance instantly endeared him to her a smidge, since she was very impressionable since her ordeal in the 'Lostlands'. Really, she'd have to work on regaining control of her emotions and moods...

But for not she'd just smile sweetly and ponder whatelse she could ask in this conversation, that wasn't too invasive and polite. She didn't want to offend him now, not after his last remark.

"Well..."

Inari looked towards the distance where the sun set everyday near nightfall, the silhouette wasn't there still. When would the god return for him, so he could show how he had grown so much, how strong he had become, what he had shaped his muscles into? Didn't seem like anytime soon, which was saddening. "No debts to owe me, least I can do after all while I wait and watch," Inari didn't want her to feel like she owed him something when there really wouldn't be anything to return.

Watching out for her family was a gesture of kindness and understanding, least to him.

"So you'll keep going around and looking then?" he asked, awkward he knew, had he already asked before? He couldn't quite trace that sentence back, "Like, traveling around still? Or are you going to try and stay somewhere, and wait for them?"

"I know many of my family wanted to travel. Some of them seemed born to do it. So I'll try my best to find them but...a home would be nice. Settling down might mean I never find them though." Her tail flicked back and forth while she considered all this in a considerably better mood than she usually would have. Normally she'd cry or roar or just flop down somewhere over the idea of never finding them.

"Do you plan to travel? Or will this always be your home?" There! Back to questioning Inari.

Inari thought back to when he would play with his father, and then when the god of war came into his life. He was going to be a warrior, though he wasn't sure where that meant he would go in the future. He wasn't sure if he'd stay here or go. "I'm not sure...I'm waiting for someone to come here before I decide, the choice will influence me no doubt about it..." Inari said with his golden eyes watching her.

He wondered if any of her siblings were warriors or anything of the like.

"This will always be my home regardless if I stay or go, I was raised here, I grew up here, I'll always have a longing for this place," he stated with a nod.

"I hope when I find my way home, it still feels that way for me, and my family is waiting for me. You're lucky, Inari." It was said without any bitterness, just an observation. Almost with admiration too. It was hard to think sometimes that she'd be feeling like that if she'd never run away. Still...with him watching out for her family, least there was some hope that he'd see them sometime.

"I should probably get going, find my travel companion once more. Thankyou, Inari, it's been a pleasure meeting you. And your friend. If I come back this way I'll look for you." She offered a smile with the goodbye. Regardless she felt like she owned the nice boy something for adding her relatives to his list of things to look out for.

Inari gave her a nod as she spoke, friend? Least he had another one, his friends meant a lot to him, they always would, though whether or not he would eventually tell them of his time wanting, perhaps in the future being a warrior, was yet to be decided. He didn't want them to be used against him, he didn't want any of them to get hurt, though Asherah seemed like she could fend on her own.

"Good luck...and I'll see you again someday," he said with a smile, then he turned as well, and walked the borders a bit longer, he didn't want to retire to sleep so early, even though it called to him like a siren.

He'd just keep going on.

While walking on he met up with Daemon again who was staring out at where the sun was setting, not saying a word. "I'm Alright..." he said outwardly towards Inari, to confirm he was fine. He was just thinking, he had things to do adn take care of back at hte den...though he wasn't sure how they would go.

Standing up Daemon walked side by side with Inari, Inari was a good kid, Daemon was sure he'd do great things.

He was sure.
