Shes the awsomest girl character on the show lol.
I like Claire too, but Kate is more of the adventure type.

i dont really like kate that much, i mean shes kwl and stuff, but she just keeps going from jack to sawyer and back to jack AND I MEAN CANT SHE JUST PICK 1!!! Also in real life, she's dating DOMINIC MONAGHAN evil evil scream scream scream EVIL
but other than that i like her ^.^

I like Kate a lot! I like her background story and I like her character. Personally, I'm more of a Jate fan than a Kawyer (or whatever you kids are calling it these days), but I still wouldn't be mad if she got with Sawyer.
I don't understand why so many people hate her neutral

skyfish I like Kate a lot! I like her background story and I like her character. Personally, I'm more of a Jate fan than a Kawyer (or whatever you kids are calling it these days), but I still wouldn't be mad if she got with Sawyer. I like Kate, but shes not my fav character. Out of the girls shes my fav character. What did you think about Benry making her wear that dress?

I think that Benry is pretty creepy for making her wear that dress. Actually, Benry is just creepy in general gonk
As for Kate, she is possibly my favourite character on the show. It depends on what kind of mood I'm in biggrin I think Evangeline Lilly's a great actress too.
My friend went to an audition (a long time ago) and she saw Evangeline Lilly there! But that was when Evangeline wasn't famous.

I really like Kate, despite her lack of judgement in even thinking of Sawyer over Jack. Eventually it will be Jack and Kate in the end. I like Kate because of her strong character and her good heart (even if she did kill Wayne lol)

ANYWAYS, KATE AND SAWYER ARE MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS.

I really don't like Kate (as a character) because of how she is trying to both damsel in distress and independent. She comes across as a cross-between the two and annoys the hell out of me. You don't know where she stands. She really hasn't been all that useful, in season two her appearances seemed forced. Plus her whole horrible backstory was a letdown. I was expecting something a little bit better or rather was wondering if her backstory would give more depth to her character, it didn't.

Kate would be a much better character had the writers planned her story better from the beginning. During the first three or four episodes of season 1 she was really well-written, because these episodes were planned out when they were thinking about killing off Jack, but after that, since Kate was supposed to take Jack's role, they couldn't figure out what to do with her. It's unfortunate, because she has the potential to be a really excellent character, but she's been completely wasted during this series. I still love her, though.
I'm not happy with all of her backstory, but I'm glad that they actually made her commit a serious crime rather than simply have her accused of a crime she didn't commit -- that would've been an easy out for the writers to say "no, really, she's not a bad person!"

I like Kate, she's a interesting character i especailly liked her in season 1. The only thing that bugs me though is that shes confused lol, i love her backstories but it seems on the island she doesn't really know what to do if she is asked to do something she is always kind of on the edge of it if you know what i mean. The whole Jack/Sawyer thing has been dragging on since season 1 and i always wanted her to pick Jack lol.
