Kids, Teens and Even older teens will always be mean... Things get better once you get a bit older.

 The majority (not all) of HS kids = pathetic lil bastards who pick on others to hide their own weakness and insecurities. 3nodding
I know it's hard, to ignore what they say and let it roll off you, and just remember... they suck and should be destroyed. biggrin
Phaedra was only picked on in HS once... but she doesn't recommend handling it the way she did.

Lol, even though I am a Freshman, nothing has happened to me yet, I think I scare the upperclasman xd

Actually, yeah. Well, it didn't help that I was the lone female Individual in a school full of prom queens and rednecks. I was the "creepy, witchy chick", and supposedly I was "known" to hex/curse people. The funny part is I wasn't even a practicing Pagan at the time.
But, the "incident"... most people were scared shitless of me (for no reason, I swear! See above) except this one guy in my home room. He was big (6'3", and probably over 400lbs) and just a total jackass. And he seriously thought he was goddess's gift to the world. Well, despite his size, he just loved making snide comments about me. Never outright picking on me, just little under the breath comments. I really couldn't care less. Until one day, he apparently wanted a rise out of me and wasn't getting it (as usual)... so, out in the hall by his locker, he stopped me and said "So, I was at the hospital last night and saw your Mom. Now I know where you get being such a fat cow from." (Note: my Mom, while she and I may have issues sometimes, is a SAINT. The whole town adores her, I adore her... everyone ******** loves her! And you do NOT talk about my Mommy!) So, he says his piece and gives this smug grin... and I have had it. So, I slam him again the locker and make him levitate... long, strong, filed to sharp points fingernails wrapped around his balls and digging into the base, through his jeans... hard... heard later it drew blood... and told him very calmly "Only two things are keeping these attached to you right now. One is that we're in school. Two is that I don't feel like digging chunks of flesh out from under my nails with a pencil. But know this. NO ONE talks about my mother. ONE more word about her, or me, and you'll be getting these back in a nice giftbox." Then, I let him go, picked up the books I'd dropped, and walked away. After that, for some reason, he was as scared of me as the rest of them. rolleyes Wuss.

*high fives Phaedra* That was an awsome way to handle it!!! I think that you and I have the same thoughts: dont care about what they say about you, but when it comes to family its crack time. Last year for instance, I dont even know what I did to this chick, she had it out for me and she just kept on goading me on and on and it never worked. Untill, however, she started to insult my extended family who she had never met. I dont know if I have told you about my extended family, but if there is a heaven, they are going to it. They are the most amazing people that I know and I would die for them. After her snide coment, I slammed her into a locker and slapped her face, then I said: If you speak about my family in an ill manner again, your face wont be as pretty. Then I let her go and she ran away crying.
