Had Kayce been any more feminine or had any sense of social propriety, she would likely have halted her attack. As it was, she had wrestled long and often with her brute of a brother, and she had no qualms about a hands-on fight. As it was, she felt a surge of elation and adrenaline as she was successful in knocking the other boy out of his chair.
Her joy was short-lived, however, as sharp nails began to dig into her face and stomach. She ignored the stinging pain of the scratches, though, and she moved to hover her knee over his groin, trying to put as much weight on it as possible. Since that wasn't likely to yield much in the way of results, though, she tried to dig her nails into his shoulders through that disgusting whatever-it-was that he was wearing, bent forward as her jaws attempted to seek out his throat and get a good hold.
Somewhere in the back of her mind, she registered the shocked silence about her, but as it was of little, or perhaps no, consequence, she chose to disregard whatever was going on. She would not stand for him shoving pizza in her face, and she hoped and prayed that the blood from the scratches on her face was getting all over that impractical white outfit of his.

Varian was going to throw a complete fit later, once he got home - because Kayce's hopes were true, and blood indeed was getting all over his haori. But right now, he was a bit too preoccupied to notice...
While his scratching was successful, he was still the one pinned to the ground; and that was never a good position in a fight. Especially when you're a boy, and there's a girl who's very angry on top of you; his groin was certainly aching.
His haori was thick enough that the nails didn't go through - but thrasing his head around when she went for his throat allowed to get a different target...his ear.
His yelp at his ear being clamped down on was not a happy sound. It also seemed to jumpstart the adults in the room into action, as they began trying to break up the fight.
Of course, it would help if they could get close. Flailing limbs made things a bit of the difficult side...
And flailing was something Varian was doing, as he struggled to try and roll her off of him - get him of top, at least. And make her let go of his ear. His scratching increased, and with his legs thrashing around, he was trying to kick her as well.

Kayce let out her first real sound of the fight when she felt a knee connect with her thigh. She let out an enraged screech that increased in volume and intensity until it sharply cut off. She clamped her teeth down more tightly on the one bit of his body she was able to bite on, pulling her head back in a vicious motion, as if trying to bite and tear off the ear at the same time. Whether or not it worked was questionable. She just wanted to cause him pain!
It became obvious after a moment that he was trying to roll her off, and she was at a weight disadvantage. She was smaller and lighter by an appreciable bit. Pure fury and good muscle tone were perhaps the only thing keeping her on top of things, both literally and figuratively. She leaned more weight on that carefully-aimed knee, moving her hands to rest her palms flat on his shoulders in an attempt to hold him down so she could continue her assault on his person.
She hissed quietly as the scratching continued, not pleased with how much damage he was doing. This was not acceptable. She had to retaliate somehow.

Pain was something Kayce seemed good at causing - at least with Varian's ear. Yipping at the pain, the bystanders could see that this was an oddly bloody battle for two children. For two Ballet dancers, at that!
Blood from Kayce's scratches, and quite a bit of blood from Varian's ear. Oh my. Who knew how much damage was actually being done? The blood obscured it, after all.
Varian struggled at Kayce, but he couldn't seem to throw her off of him, or switch it at all; he may be larger then her, but he really wasn't a particularly active child. He certainly wasn't a very strong one, anyway.
Adults reached down, struggling to seperate the two...although with the way things were going, they were likely getting smacked and kicked for their troubles.
((You can decide if the adults are successful here, since Kayce's the one on top xDD ))

Kayce, for the first time in her life, experienced that coppery, metallic taste that was indicative of blood. It should have repulsed her. Instead, she found it invigorating, and she chomped down as hard as she could manage, constantly releasing her hold and attempting to bite down again, content to damage his ear at the moment.
Of course, all of the blood in the equation wasn't Varian's. She had blood streaming down her face from scratches, which probably made her look even more frightening. It wasn't deterring her in the least, nor were Varian's struggles. She simply formed her hands into fists and attempted to pummel him into submission, not content with simply drawing blood.
She felt someone grab hold of her, and, figuring it was that damnable ballet teacher, she raised her free leg and kicked back, hard. She let out a hiss of pleasure through tightly clenched jaws when her booted foot connected firmly with a soft body, a thrill running through her at the yelp the adult made. Idiot. That would teach them.
An instant later, a more powerful pair of arms seized her and lifted her clear off Varian, right into the air. Despite the fact that she vainly tried to keep his ear clamped between her teeth, she failed and was held aloft, snarling furiously in her captor's arms and reaching for her opponent. Only a moment later did she realize that the adult holding her several feet above the ground was quite tall, quite strong, and possessing of dark wings.
Oh, crap. Dad.

As Kayce was lifted off, Varian took the opportunity to rise to his feet - and was promptly pulled back by adults as well, as he tried to go after Kayce. With those last few hits, she'd managed to get his face a bit more...his wasn't so pretty at the moment.
And he was going to be really sore later.
"Varian!"
Aletea had arrived. And she appeared furious as she strode over, looking almost speechless in her fury, as she glared at her son. She somehow hadn't expected him to get into a fight...
Varian, with blood streaming from his mangled ear (she had sharp teeth!), ignored his mother for the most part, just glaring at Kayce like he wanted to go right back at her.

Seeing that Varian was, in fact, back on his feet and looking dangerous, Kayce struggled in her father's grasp, arms outstretched and fingers hooked like claws as she scrabbled at the air in a futile attempt to get at him. After a moment or two of struggle, it became clear that her father was not loosening his hold, and she suddenly ceased to struggle, lowering her head and growling her fury at the fae boy, her gaze never leaving his bloodied face. She had to feel slightly satisfied; she had done damage.
As the adrenaline surge died down, she began to feel stinging in the area of her face... a lot of it, in fact. It dawned on her that the reason her face and shirt were wet was blood. She lifted one hand and dashed at her eyes to get rid of the liquid life obscuring her vision, not realizing that she only smeared the blood across the face. Oh well. At least she could see properly now.
"I'm guessing you're his mother. I'm very sorry about this," Aiodhan was saying emphatically, still holding Kayce several feet above the ground in his massive arms. "She's never done this before."
Not for lack of wanting... Kayce thought furiously, baring her bloodied fangs in a silent snarl at Varian. Bitchboy.

Aletea reached over, planting her hands on Varian's shoulders as the boy finally stopped straining against the adults to go after Kayce. It seemed that he was beginning to feel the aches and pains as well, although he hadn't yet realized how bloody his jacket now was.
"Neither has Varian. But trust me, I have a feeling she didn't start this all on her own."
Fixing a sharp, disapproving look down on Varian, Aletea scowled as he simply looked away from her, looking angry.
"I apologize for my son."
Varian glared at his mother then, opening his mouth to defend himself - she shouldn't be apologizing for him! He had done nothing wrong! - but she cut him off with a warning tone.
"Don't even start, Varian. We're going home; we'll discuss this then.

Aiodhan snorted and shifted Kayce in his arms, finally bending over to plant the girl's feet on the ground. "One move, and you're grounded for the rest of your childhood," he warned her, though he felt it was moot at this point. Kayce knew she was in trouble; she wasn't going anywhere. "Be that as it may, it doesn't excuse what she did," he added to Aletea, glaring down at the top of his daughter's head.
He started momentarily before reaching down and plucking a bit of stringy, congealed, sauce-coated mozzerella cheese from her hair, near her forehead. "What the...?" he inquired rhetorically, before flicking the piece of cheese aside. Gross.
Kayce had to look rather smug as Varian got his due. Sure, she was going to be grounded for ages, but it was worthwhile, if only for the opportunity to maul his ear and completely stain his outfit. Before her father could stop her, she had to get in a few last words. "Don't look in a mirror. The thing might crack at your reflection. Oh, and I don't think that's sauce," she said, gesturing with one pale, blood-encrusted hand at his... outfit. Ah, so her face was stinging like crazy and her thigh was bruised. Big deal. She had won, and he so knew it.

Snarling, and opening his mouth to snap something back at Kayce, Varian glanced down and abruptly froze. His...haori...
Then he seemed to snap (once more), as he shrieked and lunged at the girl. His jacket was ruined! Blood was practically impossible to get out of other colored things - and on a white silk jacket, with that much blood...well, the only option would be to throw it out.
Luckily, Aletea caught him before he could get ahold of Kayce.
"Varian, we're going home now!"
And, dragging the shrieking boy out of Chuck E. Cheese, they left, and Varian realized something as he caught sight of his mothers face.
He was so screwed.

Kayce smirked openly as Varian attempted his ill-fated lunge for her. She had won, completely. There was no debating this fact. She had gotten into her first fight, and she had won. Not even the pain of war-wounds could compare to the elation she was feeling at that moment.
Until, of course, Aiodhan's hand fell on her shoulder, and she remembered that her transgression of the moral code had had witnesses. Damnit. This did not bode well.
"Kayce. Home. Now," was all the dragon-man could get out before he steered her none-too-gently toward the door. She did stop long enough to pick up her ballet bag from beside her abandoned chair before moving out of the oddly-silent restaurant/playplace at a swift trot beside her father. Yes, she was busted. Was it worthwhile?
Completely.
