"I'd love to meet your Ma, Kiasi." Safuma smiled easily, but she was glad for the smooth turn of conversation on both parts of the cubs. Yen Ha repeating her words as a question made her wince slightly, not even she really knew the answers completely and she hated coming up with lies and answers to defend her family and her mother's decision, a decision that Saf only defended for love of her mother and siblings. When the two began to speak of what they would do later in life, Saf's smile broadened.
"I think I'm going to do that too, Yen Ha. Travel and come back home now and then." When he continued, her brow furrowed and she thought on it for a moment. She had heard that it was dangerous, but Nsundu lived in the Roguelands and she was fine. "I know some rogue cubs who get to wander all the time on their own and mostly just live with their Ma." Some cubs was really only one, but Safuma ignored such trifle facts, "They seemed alright, so it can't be that dangerous. Nsundu was kind of rough around the edges but she was... strong. So maybe traveling would be good. Make someone stronger, mind and body?" That was a new phrase for her, but she found it worked.

Kiasi grinned brightly at Safuma. "Maybe someday you can meet my whole family! And you too, Yen Ha! They're all really nice. I have five brothers and sisters, plus Mama and Daddy, so there are lots of us." Not nearly enough to compare to Safuma's family, but to Kiasi still couldn't comprehend having so many brothers and sisters.
"I can't wait to travel," she said. "I've heard lots of stories about the world out there, and there are so many great things to see." The female looked at Yen Ha, tilting her head at his question. "I think that it can be dangerous anywhere," she said thoughtfully. "The Pridelands are safe, but even they aren't danger-proof. I bet there are some places out there that are very dangerous, but most places in the world are probably like the Pridelands. As long as you're careful, everything will be fine."

Yen Ha still wasn't sure. It sounded a little silly to him to assume every place was like the Pridelands, if that was the case then why bother leaving? If that was the case he would never find where he belonged! He said nothing though, but still hid secret thoughts about being able to protect himself.
The little white cub was going to grow up into a weed and he knew it. There was no time for him to build up muscle when he needed to ponder and question. Besides, he always lost play fights anyway so what was the point? He didn't like being a loser very much.
"Maybe one day we'll all meet up again and can share our stories." He replied. He liked the idea of gaining knowledge on things he hadn't seen, just appear to be more intelligent. "Though I don't think I'm going to go out there all alone..." No, no that just wouldn't do. Such a future intellect needed a bodyguard! He smiled and his eyes glittered but whilst now as a cub he was seemingly normal, it was said that one day he'd possibly become a pompous twit, especially if he didn't have friends who could hold him back from such a path.

Safuma smiled broadly at Kiasi, nodded eagerly as she did so. "I would love to meet them all, Kiasi." She paused before adding, "I have eight brothers and sisters, but I don't get to see all of them very much. We all kind of go off on our own most days, but I see them at night." She grinned, glad to talk about her family so long as her loss of inheritance wasn't part of the discussion.
When the talk of travel took the stage again, though, she was anxious, "Me too. I want to go places one day, even if it's just to see. Nsundu is a rogue cub, I bet if I asked she'd show me some places." Looking to Yen Ha, she smiled, "You don't have to go all alone! You could have one of us go with you." She nodded, "Then we wouldn't have to share our adventures with each other, we'd experience them together. That's always an option."

"I like Safuma's idea!" Kiasi said excitedly. "It must be more fun to travel and experience the world with friends. And it'd be more safe, too, because there would be three of us instead of just one."
Kiasi tilted her head, looking up to the sky. "I want to see the whole world and then come back here and settle down." Seeing the whole world was certainly an impossible goal, but Kiasi set her sights high, and even if she couldn't see everything, she'd surely see most of it!

He smiled, feelng much better about the situation now. To journey the world as a miniature pride sounded much more fun than travelling it alone. For though he would never admit it, he did fear the outside as much as he wanted to explore it.
"Okay." He agreed. "But what if you journey the whole world and find that you can't settle?" He asked. "What if you get the wanderlust and decide to stay a rogue? Or maybe stay somewhere else?" Somehow he couldn't help but think there was somewhere out there waiting for him. A greater destiny where he could use his growing intelligence to become worshipped, of sorts.
"Have either of you heard of any places that might be good to visit first?" He queried then, wandering now where his own parents had come from.

She smiled when they appeared, and vocalized, that they liked her idea. Her scarlet eyes wide as they darted from one to the other as they spoke. Looking to Yen Ha, she shrugged idly, "If the wanderlust took us, we would be happy wandering. There would be no need to settle, I don't think we'd even miss having a home after awhile."
Lifting her eyes to the sky, she tried to think if she had heard of anyplace good to visit. Both Siyo and Nsundu had been rogues and had only known the rogue lands, everyone else she had met had been Pridelanders and never said anything about land outside of their home. She shook her head, "I haven't heard of anyplace. I'm sure if we asked someone, they might tell us."
Her gaze darted towards home with a sigh, "I should probably head home. Ma and Da might be looking for me, I've been gone almost all day."

"Maybe... the graveyard?"
It was an odd suggestion, a dreary place that contrasted the Pridelands so drastically. "That's where my mama is from, and her daddy's from, too. He still lives there. There must be something interesting there, or else why would he stay there?"
She tried to think of other places, but could not come up with anything. Much as she hated to admit it, at her young age, she did not know much of the world. So when Safuma changed the subject, she let out a tiny breath of relief. "Yeah, I should probably go home to my family too. Can we meet up again sometime, Safu, Yen Ha? Maybe we could play a game or something." She grinned. "I like having friends."
